[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dishwasher since December 2014 and have had nothing but problems with it. It does not CLEAN my dishes. It has actually ruined a lot of my glasses with stains, which my old plain Jane dishwasher never did. I have used the recommended detergents and tried others, to no avail. I am also the queen of rinsing dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, they are basically clean when they go in so why my dishes come out dirty is beyond me. Occasionally I will get a "clean" glass, but the recommended detergent leaves little granulates all over the dishes too, so I still have to rinse them before use. The top rack sometimes gives way and falls to the lower height when there isn't even a lot of cups loaded, scaring the life out of me since all the dishes clang together when it happens. The bottom adjustable prongs give way and don't hold up. I'll be better off just hand washing everything and using it as a drying rack, but even then I would have to worry about the top rack falling down an potentially breaking my glasses. It is quiet, probably the only good thing about it, well and it makes my kitchen look pretty... But other than that I am very unsatisfied and will buy a different brand in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG was to cheap to put a clean light on this unit. Do not like the fold down racks that constantly fall over. Power button should be recessed. On several occasions the unit was powered down when someone standing at the counter pressed the power button with their leg. You then have to restart the entire wash cycle. There is also no air dry setting.
It is very quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already do not like that the child lock feature only works when it's on. Unfortunately, due to it being energy savy, even if I turn it on it doesn't stay on more than 5 minutes. I have a child with Autism that plays obsessively with our appliances, so the child lock feature needs to be working even when it's not running a cycle. :(

New Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher a month ago, and am disappointed in it. It washes dishes beautifully, but it's the most difficult dishwasher to load I've ever owned. The top rack is configured strangely. Even though some of the prongs will move up and down, large glasses and cups will not fit into the sections easily, thus limiting how many you can wash at one time.
The same thing is true with the bottom rack. It's hard to get any dinner plates to stand upright. They tend to fall over.
The silverware rack is very poorly designed as well. It comes apart into three sections, which I cannot figure out why they did this. No matter what we do, it will not stay together. I just happened to save the old silverware receptacle from my old dishwasher, so I replaced the new one with our old one.
With all the complaints aside, it does get my dishes clean. I just can't get as many dishes in this one as I did my old dishwasher.
One of the best features is that it does not require dishes to be completely clean. It has a small food grinder that will take care of small amount of food residue. This was the best feature of all.
