Terrible - didn't last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dishwasher about 27 months ago. Now, just 3 months after the warranty expired, the recirculation pump is failing. This product was not made to last and did not make our Life Good :-(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this machine because our Maytag machine broke down and found this LG in a Sears Outlet. It was brand new and never used. So far, it has worked well; cleans well, no spots on the glasses, and the best feature is that the dog is not afraid of it when it's running, which may not seem like a big deal. In the past, when we ran the Maytag, it made so many strange noises that the dog used to freak out and wanted to be outside until it was done. We would try to run it at night and forgot many times; it was so frustrating to get up in the morning and have a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. This new LG is so quiet, it does not affect him at all! We can run it as soon as it's full. Another interesting feature is the easyrack system. If I need more room in the top rack, I can drop it down in 2 seconds! The stainless steel finish is so beautiful, too.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, easy to use

I don't love how tightly my silverware fits into the holder, as it is a pain to pull them out to put them away.
