Do the Work Quietly!

This dishwasher is the quietest we've ever owned. Controls are clear and accessible; loads come out clean every time. The adjustable rack comes in handy after entertaining, and the internal support adjustments are a breeze to use, and so handy. It's also so quiet we can start it any time, and it hardly makes a sound.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Quality, quiet

This model is very, very quiet, which permits guest's conversation during operation. the adjustable tray features accommodates all dishes in a single load. offers several wash cycles for any wash application. Love clean dishes and this machine assures they are sanitized for family's health.....I would buy this model again and recommend for friends.

Love all the features. The ability to dry without using a heating coil is a big plus, allowing us to put things on bottom shelf we wouldn't otherwise. Love the adjustability features of both upper and lower shelves. Overall, very happy we made the switch.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Quality

No Heating Element! Hybrid Drying..NOT!

I had no idea when I bought this unit there was no heating element!!!!! Missed the visual on this one. Here is what the manual says: The DW does not rely on a heating element for drying process; instead it relies on the heat that is retained by the dishes and tub (huh?) during the wash and rinse cycles to turn the moisture in the tub into humidity. Warm moist air in the DW is then pulled into a condensing duct in the door by a (tiny) fan. When this moisture condenses into a liquid it is drained out. Well I had to dry all the dishes. It says a rinse aide is "required" to enhance drying. Common sense tell us at this point there will still be water on the dishes. Soooo disappointed in this unit. Oh, and there is no light to tell you the dishes are done.
Pros: nothing good here

We purchased this dishwasher thinking that we were buying a good quality appliance. Boy, were we wrong! This dishwasher is difficult to load, doesn't hold as much as the 10-year-old dishwasher that we replaced, and doesn't do a great job of getting the dishes clean. I've already had a glass get broken in the top rack because they tend to fall over if you're not very, very careful in how and where the glasses are placed. The bottom rack comes off the track, making it necessary to take out the dirty dishes, replace the rack on its track, and reload. What a nuisance! It is really quiet, but that's about the only good thing I can say about it. I'm really disappointed in this dishwasher, and wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

Best dishwasher I've ever owned

We needed to replace a dishwasher that came with the home we bought last year, which was less than 10 years old. I had to re-wash glasses and dishes frequently! Frustrated, because the last few years with a couple of moves, every dishwasher was garbage. I researched to narrow down my choices in a price range that fit our budget and came to the LG brand. We bought it and had it delivered the next day. Being somewhat handy, my husband and I did our own installation (not a difficult thing to do) and since then I have been thrilled with the results! Clean dishes and glassware, easy loading and flexibility with the fold down tines, and plenty of room on top rack to even put my wine glasses. Since we were made aware by the salesman of the importance of using a rinse-aid for thorough drying, something I used anyway, my dishes and glasses come out dry, something I couldn't say about the top-rated brand dishwasher that we had installed in one home about 10 years ago. The operation is so very quiet and the ease of use is great. Since I usually run my dishwasher during the night, to conserve energy, I haven't worried about the length it runs, but love the timer that tells you how much longer the cycle has to go. Now I am looking forward to the new LG range and microwave to be delivered later this week, to replace the range of another popular brand that, although it functions fine, the flaw in the door handle design has caused the handle to come off in the middle of baking! Not a fun thing to deal with! So, eagerly looking forward to this new, top-rated LG range and the microwave to go with the new dishwasher. Bring on the fall and holiday baking season!

Good performance with one annoying fault

About 2 months post-purchase, the dishwasher was easy to install, has done a good job cleaning dishes, is very quiet, and looks attractive. The one fault I've encountered is that the lower rack has no detente, so it pulls out onto the door very easily, and once it's off its tracks, it's hard to get it realigned and pushed back in. There should be a detente to prevent this; meanwhile, my solution is to be very careful pulling the tray out....
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Quality

Great value for the price. Could use a light indicating that cycle is done and dishes are clean instead of music at the end of the cycle. Overall it works great and it is super quiet.
