Nicely styled and has features that are both functional and well placed. I initially was going to purchase a less expensive brand, but when I saw the other dishwasher in person, I could not understand the functionality of putting the silverware on the door. Waited the extra few weeks for this to be delivered. This dishwasher cleans my dishes well and has plenty of room. I really like the adjustable racks, cleaning features and skinless steel interior. My only two concerns are the thinness of the gasket (but perhaps it is a strong material that will not breakdown) and the longevity of the detergent holder closure. The closure takes a delicate slide to snap shut so I just hope it stands up to use over time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Most quiet unit we have ever had!

This dishwasher is quiet!! Almost have to really listen to see if it is operating.
Cleans dishes very well and in a short amount of time!
Dishes come out dry as soon as the unit shuts off!

Slightly disappointed.

Three items don't seem to go with the rest of the machine quality:
1. 3 part utensil box doesn't stay together, is cheaply made, and doesn't fit very well in the washer. Also the carrying handle doesn't fold down for some reason.
2. the uprights In the bottom section fold down flat by themselves after each wash. Why???? You have to re right them before the next wash.
3. No finished light so its hard to tell if the dishes were done or are still dirty.
All in all, its one of those products which makes me wonder if the engineers ever tried out the product after they designed it.

A bit hard to use

First, this dishwasher, when on the right setting and with rinse aid, gets the dishes clean; although don't expect it to produce sparkling clean dishes from food-caked dishes. My biggest disappointment is the way the top rack is designed. After 2 1/2 months of use, we still can't figure out how to use it to make our dishes fit. It doesn't help that most of the rows are angled and, therefore, small plates shift around and tall glasses and wine goblets rub the inside wall (and then fall over) as the rack is being pushed back into the dishwasher. Also, the bottom rack comes off it's track very easily (and often) but is not as easy to put it back in it's track. I do like having the extra height available on the top rack so more delicate, bulky items can fit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Even with Jetdry dishes are cloudy and not clean

I've had this dishwasher for over a year and I am not satisfied. My dishes are cloudy and many times do not get clean. I've had to hand wash in vinegar and water several times to get the dishes to look clean. Features available are pretty minimal. I had to purchase a "short" dishwasher due to the space in the cabinet, which did not allow me many choices in dishwashers.Beware of repair service providers- read the expected charges and warranty information carefully.

Don't know about some of the negative reviews I haven't experienced these issues?? I haven't had any problems thus far glasses come out sparkle clean with Jet Dry added my old dishwasher left terrible spots on glasses. Haven't had any issues with racks either I just don't close them at fast speed dishes stay where I put them. I use power scrub setting. I've been using dishwasher a couple months now. Would recommend LG to anyone who wants a dishwasher at reasonable price.

Perfect dishwasher

This dishwasher leaves the dishes sparkling. It is so quiet you have to walk up to it and listen to be sure it is running. Lots of room and adjustable for all sizes of dishes. Holds more dishes, etc. than my old dishwasher.

UNBELIEVABLY QUIET!!

When I first turned this dishwasher on, I wasn't sure it was working. It is so much quieter than my previous unit. It gets our dishes very clean and using Jet Dry keeps them dry and spotless. The only issue I have had is an occasional odor if it isn't used for a couple of days. Haven't quite figured that out yet. But overall, I love this dishwasher.
