This dishwasher is so quiet. I love being able to wash them when they need it and not have to wait until we go to bed. I love all the room on the bottom. You have to reach down more, because it takes advantage of the depth just about all the way to the floor. Takes a long time to run through the normal cycle -- but doesn't really matter to me. I just start it up and forget about it. Only downside is that you (and others in your house) don't necessarily know if the dishes are clean until you open it up and look. Since it turns off all the power, there is no light to tell you they're clean. That wouldn't be a problem for just one person -- but when one of us starts it up the others in the house don't necessarily know that they've been washed yet. Overall -- EXCELLENT product!

Worked fine, until the rust started
on January 5, 2021

I bought this around three years ago, but the rust started less than two years out. It's now so bad that we need to be very careful when pulling out both top and bottom racks so as not to cut our hands. See photos. LG, what can you do to help with replacement?

Doesn’t Run when button pushed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a new house and was excited to see an LG dishwasher and refrigerator in the kitchen. After living here for 7 months, I’ve only used the dishwasher 5 times. It doesn’t want to operate correctly. I turn it on and it acts as though it’s going to clean my dishes only to find it has shut itself down. So, needless to say, I’ve been hand washing dishes while my beautiful LG dishwasher takes up room in my kitchen.

Very Disappointed

It leaks all the time. The bottom rack slides out and falls out of place. Dishes never get really clean or dry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's so quiet you barely know it's running. Dishes are clean and glassware is spotless. Haven't owned it very long, but I'm liking it so far.

This dishwasher does a great job washing and is extremely quiet. But there are 3 features that disappoint me. There is no light or signal that stays on when is finished running so you know that it's done. And the closure clip (where the door hooks into the unit when it closes) seems to be made of fairly cheap plastic, not metal, so I expect that to break and I feel like I have to be extra careful when I close it. It does take over 2 hrs to run on a normal wash cycle which seems like a long time to me.
Pros: very quiet

We've been using this dishwasher for about 1 month.
Runs very quiet and smooth. Good design overall but still working out how to place dishes. My plates keep falling over and not enough room between dividers for glasses. Really like the dividers for silverware. Do not like that it uses electricity to dry dishes. Could well do without that.

This dishwasher has everything we were looking for. It is very quiet and gets the dishes clean the first time. The top shelf moves down to give additional room in a very easy adjustment.
I would highly recommend this product to any looking for one.
