Not a happy customer

Dishwasher racks are hard to place utensil. I spend more time organizing vessels due to way the racks are laid out. My previous dishwasher 6+ year old handled it better. Also, the wash cycle time is really long. At the end of cycle all utensils are dry. Over
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My wife loves it.

We moved in and she hated the old machine. It was dirty and rusty. We felt this was a good deal, quiet, cleans well and holds a lot. It's flexible on holding large or small items.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Probably would not purchase again

I'm a little disappointed in this dishwasher. Our tall glasses easily tip over on the top rack and they are not getting as clean as I would like. On the bottom rack, if tall plates are lined up and then touched lightly, they all lean over and you must re-position them.
These features are very annoying.

Would not purchase or recommend

The bottom drawer if you pull it harder than a mouse would it flies off the track and is unbearable to get it back on. There is no light to indicate when the cycle is complete and the dishes are clean and the chime option only rings for a short period of time. It is quiet but the drawer issue is not good at all.
Pros: Style/Design, Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Definite Learning Curve
on December 25, 2014

The LG dishwasher does not have a heating element to dry the dishes. It uses the heat from the interior of the dishwasher and blows hot air around them to dry them. Although I now love this feature there is a definite learning curve on how you load plastic dishes and how to get them to dry. I have learned to make sure my plastic bowls are at an angle, so the rims are tilted to drain the water, and I use the sanitary rinse to get the interior hotter than my water heater which is set at 140 degrees. Also rinse aid definitely helps or use white vinegar in place of rinse aid.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Having owned this machine for less than two years, I will estimate that it has been functional 5-10% of that time, and with unsatisfactory results. Either we truly got a lemon, or this model is just a bad design. Everything has been tended to, and replaced: the motor, the control panel, the soap release door, the drain, the input line, the installation has been checked and rechecked, the unit has been balanced/leveled. It always works for a short time, then comes up with a new, different error code appears. FE, DE, IE, and now HE. On the plus side, we've gotten very good at hand washing our dishes. Run, do not walk, away from this machine.
Pros: worst dishwasher, endless headaches, doesn't clean well

This prduct is a disappointment

This dishwasher is quiet. I bought it for the features and that it had a flat front. I don't like it because my glasses never look clean and have to be rewashed. I have tried everything recommended in the booklet and even bought new glasses. I don't like it that the tines collapse from time to time. It was also hard to install.

Disappointed

This product worked great at first. Quiet, low energy usage, and great features. With that said after 9 months it didn't clean the dishes, and an error code showed up. The technician has been here 2 different times to replace parts and it still doesn't work. He will have to come out a 3rd time with different parts. He doesn't think that will fix it either!? Been without it working 1 month already. Not happy.
