lower rack tines

I like the dishwasher for how quiet it is and it does a very good job in getting the dishes clean.
Cons:
However, what I don't like is the lower rack tines. The tines are straight up and down and when placing plates between the tines, the plates will fall forward and will not stay upright. This will chip the plates when they crash into one another. The diagram shows how to load the lower rack, but only when loading a full 12 piece place setting. That is good, but when there are only two of us, I will run the dishwasher when the top rack is full of cups, glasses and bowls, but the lower rack is not always full.
Until that problem is corrected, I would not recommend this model.

Tools provided in this LD dishwasher are amazing

There are few words to describe how much my wife and I enjoy our new LG Dishwasher. Amazing, State-of-the-Art, Fantastic, Terrific, are just a few. The ability to adjust the tines is something I never even thought of, but is very handy. As for cleanliness of dishes, it could do no better. Even the little jingle it plays at the start and completion of the cycle is appreciated.

We purchased a new dishwasher as our old one was noisey and did not seem to clean the dishes. We had 21 family members together over Christmas and New Years and washed many dishes with no problems in having clean dishes or being able to visit while it was running.. I am very pleased with my new LG

This unit is very easy to use and Very quite.
Installation was also very user friendly.
Adjustable height glass area and adjustable plate area make it a bonus to wash any size items.

Problems with the lower rack

The machine is beautiful, the racks are adjustable, and it is so quiet you don't even know its running.
The problem is the lower rack. It keeps coming off the track. I have never had this problem with a dishwasher before. I called customer support and they suggested I check to see if the machine is somehow not leveled. I have yet to do that so may be sorry I did this review ahead of that.
I looked in the question and answer section of LG and found several people who were having the same problem that I am. There was no solution given. Not a mention that perhaps the machine was not properly leveled.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
