Attractive and quiet

It appears that to be energy effecient there is no built in heating element. This means that given the low volume of water used, if the dishwasher is very far from the hot water heater, the water will be luke warm. This will cause problems long term with buildup of the chemicals in the diswasher detergent. You will need to let your sink hot water run until it is hot to get the best performance.
The manual which came with the unit is not for that machine and I have not been able to find one online so far. No obvious way to disassemble and clean the jet arms or filter. Eventually all dishwashers need this to maintain optimum performance.
Pros: Style/Design

Terrible to load dishes in

It is quiet and does a adequate job cleaning. Don't plan on loading many different type of dishes in this unit. Nothing fit good. Rack prongs are too short to keep dishes up right. LG makes great TV's but should stay out of dish washers.
the best option on this appliance is the quiet feature the insulation that has around it makes a very quiet

Our kitchen is a very open area with the great room and the noise level is so low that it does not interfere with the TV and/or other activites that my be going on.

Cleans dishes great. Quietest dishwasher I've never heard! Dries dishes great also. The only draw back is the racks, the tines are adjustable, which is great for bowls vs plates, but they are not secure enough and the tines often fall on their own.

We moved to a different house and wanted to replace the appliances. I purchased the LG Brand based on the great publicity and reviews. However, we have been disappointed in this purchase. The racks do not hold out glasses in an upright position, and when the door is opened, the glasses tumble over and break. The signal when finished cleaning is a soft chime, even when adjusted to the highest pitch. There is no indication on the display to remind you that the dishes are clean, after the wash.
