Quiet, easy to use, does a great job

We have had our dishwasher for 3 months, I installed it myself. Installation was easy, especially after viewing the video on the LG website. Only one snag with the installation, one of the back foot levellers did not operate properly so I had to take it apart to get it to work. Machine washes great, is quiet, and looks great too. We have the stainless steel model. We also have LG washer and dryer and they are good products as well.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Quality

Cleans well, very quiet

I am very happy with the cleanliness of the dishes. The machine operates very quietly. I can be standing right next to it and not know it is running. I love the amount of dishes that it holds and the flexibility for the larger items. One definite design flaw is the fact that the bottom rack rests on rollers, instead of being on a rail like the top rack. I have to roll the bottom rack in and out very slowly to keep the rollers on their ledge. If the weight of the dishes is not evenly distributed, the rack will become derailed, regardless of how careful I roll it. It's not the end of the world to have to put it back on track, but definitely an annoyance. Guests recently commented, "Boy, that really comes off the track easily." Not what you want to hear about a new purchase. For an otherwise well-designed machine, this is a definite flaw. A clean dishes light would have been nice, too.

Great Dishwasher

We need to get a new dishwasher because our old one stops in the middle of washing and most of the time needs to keep an eye on it so we don't end up with dirty load of dishes in the morning. So we searched online, compared prices, features, read a lots of reviews and checked stores to see how it look like in person, we decided to get this LG dishwasher. My husband is pretty handy at home so he installed it as soon as we got it. At first when he said it was already running, I have to get closer and literally pressed my ear against the machine to hear if it was really running. I cant believe it is so quiet and very efficient. I love this dishwasher !!!

Well worth it

I have had my dishwasher for a month now. The first thing that you notice (or not notice) is that it is sooo quiet. The dishes come out clean and the ability to move the tines is a good feature. The only 2 things that are missing are an indicator light that the machine has finished and a place to put tall utensils.

Did our homework for replacing a 11 plus year old ( which we loved) that was going to cost half as much to repair as a new dishwasher. Found this model of LG and purchased it. We love the stainless steel interior and the no heating element feature. The versatile racks are a plus. Like the delay wash and multiple choices for washing varied loads. My least favorite things are the silverware rack slots are too small for our flatware and the fact that it is just a push/pull close/open model without a handle and more secure safety closure. The door drops open if not completely pushed shut.

This is a terrific dishwasher

Dishes come out sparkling, along with silverware, pots and pans. Don't run the dishwasher every day, sometimes twice a week since my husband and I are the only ones at home now so we don't get to many dishes dirty, when I do run the dishwasher everything comes out clean and shiny. If you need a dishwasher this is the one!!!

I love this dishwasher the only thing is that the heat comes out the bottom of the dishwasher and is not good for hardwood floors.

Bottom loading tray will not keep plates upright

The dishwasher overall performs well and is quiet. However, the bottom loading tray design is a mess. No matter how carefully we load large plates they will tip over as we pull the tray in and out. This is very frustrating. It is also the first dishwasher we have owned where this has been a problem. It's difficult to believe a loading tray has been designed like this but that's unfortunately what it is. For this reason I would not recommend this product and I'm sorry we made the purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
