A “NOTEworthy” Mother’s Day Gift

I am a proud owner of Samsung's Flagship Phablet, The Galaxy Note II (Titanium). I also am a Samsung enthusiast. I decided to surprise my Mom with an early Mothers Day Gift; the Galaxy Note II because I found it hard for her to give me mines back. I bought my Mom the Note II because I noticed that she juggled an iPhone and iPad. My solution was simple, the Hybrid Galaxy Note II, both Smartphone and Tablet. I thought the Upgrade from iOS 6 to Android was going to be complex. In my Mom’s opinion it was very easy to incorporate into her daily business projects. The features that my Mom uses the most are the S~Pen, Air View, Dual Screen Mode, S~Beam, and the innovative S~Note. My Mom is happy with her new Phablet and hopefully will enjoy it for years to come.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, 5.5 hd super amoled, 1.6ghz quad core processor, s~pen, multi-window, s~beam
I would recommend this to a friend!

The next big thing....... if you are talking features

So I am a bit of a gadget geek, I have 4 lines on my plan, which I take all the upgrades for and pass down the used phones to those on my plan, small price to pay for them since they don't pay the bills or pay for the phones. I most recently strategically set myself up for an upgrade every 6 months if I want. However, that wont be needed with this phone.
When I first looked at the phone, I thought this may be too heavy or awkward. How soon those worries were laid to rest. This phone fits comfortably in the palm of my hand, and conveniently in my back pocket. I know you are saying what if you sit on it, I ALWAYS put my phone on the table in front of me, or on my console of my car before actually sitting, so that solved that.
I will be honest for the typical cell user, the upgrade to a "phablet" may be a big step, but well worth it. I have had people crack jokes about my phone, and I simply explain it to them like this..... In todays world, what do most people use their phones for? 1) texting 2) games/surfing the net and 3) mulitmedia 4) talking
With that being said, the larger keyboard and fact I dont have to hit shift to type numbers is great for texting, the fact I can see the list of who texted me as well as the last few messages from the selected person when turned sideaways is amazing. Games and internet on a larger screen only enhance the experience, I have yet to see where the larger screen was a distraction/detractor. Movies and other videos, again larger screen equals larger viewing area. Keep in mind with split screen you can text/email/surf net/watch videos. I dont even know of a tablet that has that capability, though it may exsist. Talking, well lets face it in this world, most people use bluetooth, or headphones when they are on the phone, which is becoming increasingly less and less. Want proof, why else would companies make data something you pay for and give phone calls away for free? 5 years ago you paid for calls, and data was unlimited for a lower price. The cost to send data across airwaves really hasnt increased.
Now onto some of the features, I like the best shot feature with the camera most of all. It rapidly takes a series of 8 pictures and chooses the best one, but also allows you to select which one you feel is the best, when you make your selection, the unselected photos go away.
S Pen, though I have not fully explored this function, it is making meetings go faster and easier. I am able to take notes, put them in different things and actually draw diagrams of my own to keep for later.
Aside from that I had the Samsung Galaxy S III previous to this and they are pretty much the same, with the exception of Jelly Bean being preinstalled on this phone and wow amazing. GoogleNow is a great feature.
I strongly recommend this device for anyone who has alot going on in their busy life. It will help organize you if used effectively.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def

The Future of Smart Phones

This is where everyone will eventually wind up. Large screen with finger control and stylus control.
First issues for skeptics: it does fit in your pocket, so it passes that test. It is very thin, so it does not feel "big" (on the second day :) ). It has a "one hand" feature which shifts all keyboards (phone, text, calc.) to your preferred side so that small hands people can reach keys with one hand.
Once you get past these issues, everything about the device is great. Smooth screen transitions, features galore, lots of motion detection to speed tasks, it blows you away with its features. You will not regret getting one.
Pros: Lightweight, Bright display, large display, thin, latest android software
Cons: none

An awesome phone with great features

I decided to upgrade to the Galaxy Note II because thinner, lighter and longer with "the headphone jack on the bottom" was just not gonna cut it for me, plus I got tired of the same boring looking OS. I am very happy with my decision. The big screen is beautiful, and I'm still able to fit the whole phone in my front pocket. Battery life is awesome. I went on a full 45 hour (on power saving mode) with moderate internet, gaming, playing with the S-pen, moderate calling and really heavy texting throughout both days and the phone was at 4% before I had to plug it in.
The only big disappointment for me is Google Wallet does not work on the Verizon Galaxy Note II.
I highly recommend this device.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive
Cons: google wallet does not work, too many bloat-wares

This is the device i've always wanted!

Very fast, very smooth, awesome battery life (lasted 3 days on one charge for me with just phone calls and texts and some mms messages), even with every single user interface turned on, still lasted me a whole day. Chrome is very very fast on WiFi and LTE, and the screen is perfect for reading at regular arms length. I've done the Divx registration, but the first .mkv file that I loaded and tried to play gave me the message (only data file will be played), so I got video but no audio. Not complaining though because it may have been a coding issue with the original file. Love this phone/tablet (phablet as people are calling it now).
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

Absolutely Amazing

It took me about 2 months to finally pull the trigger on buying the Note 2. As amazing as the device looked, I kept telling myself that it was too big. I had loved my S3 and then spent a brief time with a competitors device that was just too small and had very little in the way of innovation. Yes, that phone. Anyway, I have had my Note 2 for about a week now and I just can't believe how great this device is. First of all, I got over the size issue within hours. It is big and everyone will point that out when they see it, but it is so comfortable in the hand. I don't know how Samsung did it, but they somehow made this huge device feel comfortable in the hand. I am not a big man and do not have big hands, but I can do most everything with one hand and that's without using the "one-handed" functions that are in the settings menu. Those are great, but prefer to not use them.
The features are just amazing. For me it is all the little things that matter the most. Things like the screen staying on while you are reading or staying in portrait when I lay down to read instead of rotating. Things like putting the phone to my ear when texting someone and calling that person without doing anything else.
The camera is awesome just as the one on the S3 is as well. Great pictures in all types of light. The options are endless. The ability to share in what ever way you want to is awesome as well. So many features here that I could not begin to cover them all. Read and watch the Samsung videos. Know that all the things they talk about work amazingly.
The sound coming out of this device is amazing as well. The speaker is so much better than the S3 and the speaker on that phone was good. It great for conference calls and for watching videos. Everyone can hear loud and clear.
Now the S Pen....What a great tool! At first I thought that I would not use it very often. I use it all the time!!! There are so many uses, but my favorites are being able to cut and paste an article or clipping or photo and put it into an email or message or document. I use the S Pen to sign documents for clients. I use it on the web as it is easier to point to links with that than with my finger. I use it make notes on my calendar and my lists. Let's just say it gets more use than I ever thought it would.
I would encourage anyone who is on the fence about this device to go spend a little time with it. It is by far the best smartphone on the market, but it is also so much more than just a smartphone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Best Phone I've Ever Owned

I love everything about this phone. My favorite feature is the 5.5 inch screen. People ask me if my phone is on steroids! It is so fast, it is great at multi-tasking. The help features are great and it was easy to learn. You can customize it to fit your life style. The last 2 vacations we went on, this is the only device I took - I could email, use facebook, play words with friends, take and share pictures, watch movies, listen to music, shop - everything I used to do on my laptop I can now do on my phone. People ask me - is that a tablet or a phone and I always respond - it is BOTH.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, large screen, multi - task and fast

I spend a lot of time in waiting rooms, I can read books on this thing, watch TV shows, get my work done and it all fits in a pocket. Yes, it actually fits in my pockets which was the most surprising part. When you get used to it, suddenly it doesn't seem so big once you realize it fits everywhere. The battery lasts forever and this is the first phone I've had that the speakers are loud enough to use in crowded spaces and still hear. (I'm not a jerk, I do pull out headphones when appropriate)
Pros: Built-in speakers, Realistic color, Lightweight, big enough to do everything, fits in pocket, excellent battery life
