Very nice device

The phone is packed with features and power. The battery life is amazing. The stylus works very well, better than I anticipated. I do not like the position of the power button......it is right across from the volume rocker so sometimes when you press the power button you hit the volume keys...poorly designed.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable
Cons: Not high def
I would recommend this to a friend!

The perfect device

I am blown away by the amount of things you can do with this phone, if you can even call it a phone. You can create and edit almost any productivity document, watch movies in amazing color on a beautiful screen, or play just about any new graphically intensive game. Using the s-pen, you can cut & paste any image or text, sketch out a quick idea, or draw a masterpiece.
It is like I have a powerful computer, gaming console, & a digital art studio in the palm of my hand.

Fantastic Phone, I recommend to everyone

As a cellphone company employee, I can say without a doubt this is the best phone out there. With a quad core processor, a 5.5 inch screen and a boatload of features, it's easy to say I love this phone.
Pros:
- Huge screen. Watching movies, sports, youtube is really nice and you don't have to hold the phone 6 inches from your face. Everyone will look at your screen from a distance and be amazed that they can see it from that far away.
- The phone is stylish in white - it looks like a phone people want to have. Everyone I talk to says "ooh, pretty phone."
- Functionality is top notch. The phone allows you to browse the internet and type a text message at the same time. For me, that means watching live hockey games on the internet and being able to trash talk my friends at the same time.
- The S Pen. It makes editing photos fun and easy. Verizon removed the photo editor app from Samsung, so you have to find it, but I edit photos all the time with the pen and post them with ease to social sites and send them to friends all the time and they love the pictures.
- For the size of the phone, it is light weight, even with a protective hard case on the phone. The phone fits in all of my pockets, and it's really not that huge when you put it to your face. Some may complain about this, but it's really a non-issue when you realize all of the pros it has when you are using the screen.
Cons:
- It is expensive, but I still think it is worth the price on contract.
- One thing that drives me nuts is the curved edges of the screen. Most screen protectors go right to the edge of the white (or gray) portion of the device and they end up sticking up a little bit (not completely stuck to the phone), so they end up getting dust under the edges. Not a huge deal, but frustrating.

I waited four years for this phone

Backstory, Cupertino designs beautiful products and I have had many of them. But for the past four years, I could see that these products were evolving in small, tiny steps forward. Enter the Samsung Galaxy S III. My wife got one and I could see that this phone was a huge leap beyond all other phones. And when I got the Galaxy Note II, my expectations were met.

Hands Down Incredible

I've been through plenty of smartphones and this one takes the cake. The performance is stellar, I have hardly had any lag with day to day tasks. Apps load snappy and all fuctions work perfectly. Touch Wiz is an incredible skin on top jelly bean. So many features that set it apart from other UIs. Multi-Window, Pop-Up Browser and Player, S-Note, Screen Shot capture and annotation are my favorites. The camera takes incredible photos, and the editing options are endless.
Honestly, the device is so feature-rich it's almost hard to give a full review. It is definitely the best Android powered device on the market since it's release.
Pros: Bright display, fast performance, feature rich, large display
Cons: terrified of dropping, verizon branding on home button
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Galaxy Note 2 is an all-around upgrade with one of the fastest processors and most RAM memory I've seen in a phone. What does that mean? Everything just loads quicker and the phone is just flat out FAST!!
Surfing the internet is faster and apps just open quicker. How quick?-- Don't blink or you might miss it! =)
Yes, the screen is larger than most and might not be for everyone. But if you're into surfing the internet on your phone or like watching videos and movies, the Note 2 delivers the ULTIMATE internet experience. I hated surfing the internet on my old phone-- not so with the Note 2!! :)
The Note 2 is like a small computer that you can carry in your pocket. Sometimes it takes a phone call to remind me that it's also a great phone. Buy this phone now-- you won't be sorry!

Above the Rest!!

I have been using my VZW Note 2 for about 3 months now. I am amazed by this phone. The speed, the screen, the simplicity. The phone has met almost every expectation I have had of it.
My only grief with it is due to Verizon holding back on software update and locking features. The Multiwindow is a big reason I purchased this phone, but that feature only has a limited number of apps available due to Verizons restrictions.
I would still recommend this phone to everyone!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, great battery life

The split screen allowing me to email and surf the web on the same page, the quad core processor with its amazing speed, the battery life that a true business professional needs, the amazing screen quality as nice as anything I have seen all make for a rating of 5 stars. This phone is amazingly intuitive, responsive, and the screen size is utterly amazing. Being able to share photos instantly by bumping is also an awesome feature. The camera, smart pen, video camera and speakers are all also top notch.
Whether you are working, playing games, or watching a movie the Galazy Note II is the best phone on the market period!
