The Perfect Phone

I love this phone. I compared it with every phone on the market and this was easily the best choice. The screen size is very easy to get used to. It is perfect for reading books and the news. I also use it for the occasional video or game use. The camera is very good and the battery life is nothing short of amazing. Also the S-Pen is great accessory. I have had it for 2 months and have yet to have one complaint about. Well done, Samsung!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, great battery life

Best Phone Ever Owned!

The Samsung Note 2 is the best cellphone I have ever owned! The Note 2 has a gorgeous screen, 2 gigs of Ram, 4 cores, and workes very smoothly with no lags! I love the S-Pen for jotting down notes! The camera takes pictures very fast and good quality! The video camera caputes fantadtic videos in 1080p high definition! It can also record in slow motion, or feven fast motion! The Note 2 has Sbeam, which allows the sharing of pictures and videos to occur effortlessly. The microsd card slot gives me extra storage, and the battery life is really good! There really is so much to this ohone, that I could go on and on. In summation, the Note 2 is fantastic!
Pros: everthing is awesome!
Cons: none. absolutely none.

I think my Galaxy Note II is great. I thought the larger size would be a hassle, but it hasn't been. Great screen and key size. Great writing capabilities.

I've had this device for about 8 1/2 weeks now and I'm still getting a kick out of it. All I can say is...it's big but not too big for a cellular phone. But its big enough to type or send text messages even with my fat fingers. Sometimes my fingers seem swollen or just too big to use the virtual keys but that's okay. Really impressed with the front & rear camera's picture quality which is...well better than my own vision and its crystal clear and very detailed. One of the top features is being able to take notes with the stylus and saving it for preview later and one of the best things about that is you don't need a tablet for that. The next feature is being able to ask the Galaxy for weather reports, directions how to convert temperatures by speaking too it...how cool is that? Third, the screen is big and I use too get small headaches from reading small fonts on other devices but not this one. I can actually see the text without squinting. To me that's a big plus for the Galaxy and I'm still learning about all of the other features everyday from friends and new friends who have same model but had theirs a little longer. Most of the day its easier to surf the internet on this than surfing on my laptop and easier to carry around. Just make sure you don't get caught in company meeting and have your charger & USB data cable near by just encase you need a charge. Battery life seems to last about a day and half on normal usage depending on if you're streaming or not. This thing is really cool and know I'm waiting to see if Samsung is going to upgrade the firmware to match their new cellular that's suppose to be able to follow eye contact but even better than this one. Nice Samsung...very Nice :)

Phablet? Sure, why not...

If the description fits, then wear it proudly. I gave up my Samsung Galaxy SIII and a Google Nexus 7 for a Galaxy Note II. One device that fits pretty comfortably between the two categories and serves my needs very well.
I'm an avid reader and prefer only having one device to haul around, so this's been a blessing for me. It's big enough to easily read various news apps, Kindle or Nook app and make use of a third party reading app like Mantano Reader Pro or Moonreader Pro with.
It's small enough to easily tuck into a satchel or pocket of a jacket when I'm on the go, too.
I don't hold it up to my head, I use a pair of wired earbuds/mic to make phonecalls no matter what sort of device I'm using, so that didn'tmake a difference to me. I do have a case with a kickstand, so I can prop it up and easily view the screen while I'm on a call as well.
With an SD card, I have more than enough space for whatever music I might want to listen to and all my large ebook collection.
This phablet also pairs via Bluetooth to my new Hyundai, so I can use handsfree calling if need be, or stream music or various podcasts. That's an unexpected bonus, being able to listen to my favourite radio programmes-as-podcasts whenever and where ever I happen to be.
Overall, I've found the battery life on the Note II to be far better than the S III for what I do and use. I charge every other or every third day, on average, as opposed to daily.
It's got a great mix of features and really seems to be what it's advertised to be. I can't regret moving from my former preferred device manufacturer to Samsung. It's probably one of the best choices in geektoys I could've made!
Pros: Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, perfect hybrid between phone and tablet
Cons: would like a wee bit bigger screen!

I love new toys and this is definitely a cool toy. While I probably don't use this phone like it should be I do love the features. The screen is massive and great for playing games and watching Netflix on. Some people buy phones for form and function and some buy just for the sake of having an updated phone. I bought this prior to them announcing the new S4 or Note3. Price you pay for satisfying that itch.
The resolution is great. You can find phones with tighter resolution but frankly you can't really tell. The camera rocks and takes great pictures. The size does take some getting use to however. If you wear skinny jeans good luck getting it to fix. I however wear you normal jeans and it fits but don't bend over without pushing it to the side or you will hurt yourself. Battery life is decent. I don't use it as a primary so i can usually get about 2 1/2 days before I have to charge. I bought the universal charge which is great but if you use a 3rd party case you have to take it off to charge. Sound works pretty well. I don't hear any reverb or metallic sounds either on speakerphone or speaker.

Fantastic Phone

I have had my Note 2 for about 6 weeks. I was a iphone user previously, and was looking to try something else due to boredom. I found the video and picture quality on this phone to be far superior to the iphone 4 or 5. I get the snidely comments about the size, but I actually like the size. It is great for viewing the screen, but also for talking on the phone. I can brace it between my cheek and shoulder if necessary. It is a bit cumbersome to use one-handed, but I have adjusted pretty quickly. My daughter and husband are still on iphones, and typing on the screen is so much more difficult. I am still mastering the S pen so I dont' have much to offer there. Overall I am very pleased with this phone. The only design change I would suggest is to move the power button to the top. It is hard to manuever on the side without adjusting volume with it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: power button location

I came to the galaxy note 2 from an iPhone 5 and what a difference. I was able to easily transfer all my contacts, calendars, photos and music. The screen is much easier to read on than the iPhone, and the color is magnificent. The phone is faster than the iPhone, and Android has many more customization features than IOS. One of my favorites is NFC-it just makes life a lot easier! Well done Samsung!
