The design for sealing various parts are ingenious as in the ice provider door and the way the left french door slides behind the right door to provide a perfect seal. no matter which door is closed first.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, engineering
Cons: smaller ice cubes than previous

This is an excellent refrigerator, excellent craftsmanship, and easy to use controls. It keeps very accurate temperatures in the refrigerator and freezer compartments. The French door system is excellent and closes perfectly. The stainless steel exterior is excellent and easily maintained.

I have a limited space in my mobile home to put a fridge in. I was pretty disappointed to find out that I might get stuck with a regular old fridge instead of a french door one. The measurements had me worried that this fridge was going to be very small but once it was delivered, I was ecstatic !! It was way bigger in person & there is sssooo much space inside !! It runs so quiet & is beautiful !! Thank you Samsung for making an amazing product !!!

Ice Maker is Problematic

as i read around, it seems problems with samsung ice makers is a common theme. purchased refrigerator in april of 2020. sometime in spring of 2021, ice maker ceased to function. press and hold reset button for 30 seconds did nothing, no tones. removed power for 10 minutes and plugged back in, then ice maker functioned again overnight. late july of 2021, ice maker again ceases to function. this time, again no tone from press/hold test button. remove power from unit for 2+ minutes. ice maker still not functioning. expect ice maker to function till about the time warranty expires i guess. this is the 4th samsung electronic/appliance we have purchased. 3/4 have had issues. i don't think i'll be back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I completely get where you are coming from. Sounds like you have been dealing with this for some time now. I know you have done all that you can to fix your ice maker. I think the next best option would be to have it serviced. You can do that by using the link below. ^Pat
