Demo Mode

Before you purchase this model find out what the error codes are because they are NOT explained in the owner's manual. Use caution when touching the beautiful front display icons because accidently touching certain icons in a particular order will send this refrigerator into "Demo Mode" and the owner's manual does not tell you how to get into or out of "Demo Mode". Demo Mode will make the fridge appear to be working but will not cool. You will see the letters "FF" displayed on the led panel but you will not find any reference to "FF" in the owner's instructions. You will not know you are in Demo mode until your food gets warm. The temperature display on the front is not the internal temperature of the unit it is just what you have the fridge set to. The previous model advertised that the temperatures displayed were the actual temperatures this one is not like that. If you have kids that like to touch buttons, or a husband that might lean against the front of the fridge, if you like to wipe smudges away, avoid this model.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, instructions do not cover error codes or demo mode

This refrigerator is too deep to be useful

I bought this refrigerator to replace the same cu. ft. I had with a refrigerator whose dimensions I couldn't find. Less cubic feet would be more useful. I'd not forget things that go to the back and hide. I'd not let things get bad (out of sight; out of mind). It is so deep that it is a task to get the things moved from the front of the needed item that is in the back. The drawers have the same problem as the shelves - too deep and things are forgotten or lost in the back. It is the same for the freezer compartment, but it also has permanent dividers that are placed wrong for my use.
It does it's job; vegetables and fruit stay fresh ; ice freezes.
It has a door hinge problem that is an inconvenience to repair.
The drawers are far too difficult to remove for cleaning.
I've had the refrigerator for a few months and just keep getting more upset with its inconvenient depth. And, I can think of no application or use for the depth.

Upon delivery of this product all was okay, but the next morning it did not work.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

Very happy with this new refrigerator

Very sleek looking, more room than I thought inside and so convenient to reach in and grab something, I just love it! For a 21.8 cubic foot refrigerator every inch of space is well utilized, nothing wasted and very well thought out. We were somewhat limited by height and wanted to maximize cubic feet and this was the most perfect one. Was leery first in purchasing since Samsung does make a lot of products but based on other reviews we decided to go for it and so glad we did! What I really like the most is how even the temperature stays throughout fridge, always nice & cold. Don't have to worry about what I put where. I would definitely recommend this product since it has so many pluses. The only other comment I have is when the condenser turns on the noise is a bit louder than normal. It could be because it's not 100% level yet which we do have to level.
Pros: Bright display, everything about it is fantastic
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love my new refrigerator. The only criticism I have is it is not as roomy as I first thought the thin shelves on one side will not hold anything it is too skinny. It makes plenty of ice. I wanted to remove one shelf to allow for taller items but you hav e to have both shelves in or they would collapse. Overall I like it.
