Just received my new refrigerator. Love the look and the features are great. Lots of shelf space in the refrigerator and great space in the freezer

A Bit Disappointed

Just received it 10/20. It replaced a 20 year old 21cf GE Profile fridge which had lots of adjustable storage bins on the door and inside along with slide-out shelves. I was disappointed that this fridge had none of that. No other brands came close to the Samsung in the size I wanted and the better made interior. This is the first time I've had a bottom freezer. Not sure if I'm a fan or not. Ice cube trays were not supplied since I didn't order the ice maker, but the bin was there (which I'm using for other items). It's a good thing I saved a small bin and trays from the old fridge. I love the lighting and the ease of setting the temperatures. It runs very quietly. Pull-out shelves and more adjustable increments on the doors would have been a plus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not A Good Refrigerator

not a good refrigerator at all! samsung replace 2 within a 14 month period. no refrigerator for 3 to 4 weeks both instances.

Ice maker broken

im not a happy customer. my ice maker is broken. it will no longer produce ice. i've followed all the steps provided in the manuel and online. nothing has worked. and of course my warrenty expired in may of 2021. i hope samsung can help with a fix or this will be the last samsung anything i personally ever buy. i look forward to hearing from them.

Flunks in cleanability

The refrigerator functions as it should. However, cleaning the inside is a nightmare. Had to look online on how to remove the bottom shelf. The clips mentioned in the instructions were not where explained. Once loose, it was a struggle to do a multidimensional tilt to remove it from the refrigerator. Plastic clips holding the glass in place had to be removed to clean the glass. One of the clips broke in the process. The sides of the shelves where they attached to the refrigerator had numerous small areas which formed odd angles. Impossible to clean. The fronts of the drawers each had an overlapping area into which debris can slide, but there is no way to clean it out My otherwise sparkling clean refrigerator now has a very obvious row of debris at the front of each drawer. Very unsightly and unhygienic. Perhaps the appliance designers should clean a model before it is released for sale.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
