The refrigerator we had been looking for

This refrigerator is one of the few with French doors that fits the 30-inch by 67-inch space we had available. We chose this one rather than the similar RF221NTCASP, because we didn't want or need the water filter in that model. We had to give up water and ice in the door, and the ice maker doesn't make as much ice as the one in our old fridge did. But we like the ample freezer space, the deli tray, and the more flexible storage than we had in our old side-by-side. We love the platinum (no-fingerprints) finish, and we wish the Samsung stainless steel dishwasher and stove we bought also came in platinum. The platinum matches the stainless steel more than well enough.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, stylish stainless steel, freezer space flexibility, nice easy-to-operate controls

Great product

The design of this fridge is great for us. Sure beats the old side by side Whirlpool we used to have for the last 20 years. Love the French Doors. Had an issue with the ice maker when a part came off and fell into the ice basket but it's under warranty and the Samsung website is great for registering your product and getting a service request completed.
Pros: great looking appliance, plenty of room

This product has great features and I like it so far. The only thing I complaint is the depth is too deep for me reach out the food in very end. great product.

Product is so far much superior to others I have seen our head. Very quiet running hardly know it is, interior large but without bettter storage that's a little disappointing . Controls easy to use, I only have it on number three, it more than chills the refrigerator and freezer his food . For the price great value

This unit has great features. It's quiet, has a large freezer and having to only open one side to get to commonly used items should save energy.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, solid door shelves

Best I ever owned

I have had a Samsung TV and other products along with the new refridgerator I just purchased. The TV has been the best I have ever owned & is still going strong considering its about 10 yrs old. The fridge I just purchase has so many good features. I am enjoying the freezer on the bottom instead of on top ,so much more room. I just moved to New Jersey and made a number of purchases including another TV for my spare room.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color

Extremely noisy

I have read reviews stating their refrigerator is quiet. When the compressor ramps up in mine, it sounds like it might blow up. It "quiets" to a rumble after a few seconds. I have had a repairman out and all he said was the compressor is supposed to move. I understand that, but this noise is ridiculous.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
