Mobile fun

I am getting a great deal of pleasure out of my little tablet. It is great to be able to search topics, and find them, and to check, send, and receive my emails. Other capabilities I have not really explored yet-but will when I'm more adventuresome. (I have checked out the apps).
The only negative comment I have is not the tablet's fault, but the manufacturer's. Unlike earlier days, when you bought a "gadget" a full fledged manual came with it. This is no longer true. Now, manuals have a bare minimum of help-the rest is up to you to search for it on the internet. For example, with emails there are a number of icons at the top of the screen but no hint as to what they do. You have to experiment to find out. I wish a print manual would be available for purchase, This would be so much easier than having to print individual pages from my computer, not to mention using so much ink which is expensive now.
Buy the table, have fun, but know you'll have to experiment when trying out the features.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: tiny manual not much help

I would recommend this to anyone waning a tablet but not sure if they want it as their primary computer...I love it for teh kids keeps them entertained during appointments but is also good for what I use a computer for.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Best bang for the buck!

I got the Galaxy Tab 2 for my wife who is currently taking several science classes at college. She loves her Galaxy Tab as it works great with lecture notes, word docs, viewing videos, researching online and has a great camera for taking pics and videos during class. It is super quick and puts my ipad 3 that i have from work to shame on several occasions. Best of all no iTunes to deal with.
For anyone who wants something they can really modify to their own liking, the Galaxy Tab is a great choice and it is very very very resonably priced. A+++

Cons: no hdmi output :(

Great Tablet!

I went to the store to get a Kindle Fire because I liked the size relative to the 10.1" of most tablets. I needed something that I could do some work on, so I needed internet and access to my email accounts as well as a word processing program. I didn't realize the Galaxy Tab 2 came in the 7" until I was at the store. I played around with it and ended up purchasing the Galaxy Tab 2 rather than the Kindle Fire. It could do so much more than the Kindle for only $50 more. That extra $50 was WELL worth it. I also love that I purchased the extra adapter to be able to convert the charging port to a fully functional USB port. I can now access all of my files on my flash drive directly from my Galaxy Tab 2. If you're looking for something with lots of memory, you can also add an SD card to it. With both options, this thing has tons of memory space!

Love the Galaxy Tab 2

The size is perfect for my three year old to carry and use. Even with an iPad in the house most of us want to use the Tab 2. The screen is beautiful. Battery life great and the price excellent.
We are looking to get a second one especially since the price release of the IPad mini is so ridiculous.

I purchased this as a travel companion after a serious review of several tablets. I am totally impressed by its crisp clear audio quality, battery capacity, and responsiveness. Watching local and streaming video is a breeze, the WiFi and GPS lock on effortlessly.
The 30 pin connector makes docking a breeze but I give 4.5 for the design, due to the additional separate set of adapters/cables I need to buy/carry for USB charging, USB host and HDMI out.

Very Good Tablet for A Reasonable Price

For the price that is asked for this tablet, it performs quite well. I purchased the 7.0 that was included in the special Student Edition and it turned out to be incredibly helpful for my school work. In class, I can just take this with me instead of taking my big laptop to school. Not only does it work as a worthy device to use in lecture classes but its lightweight makes it very easy to carry back and forth.
The features available with the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 are more than sufficient for the typical tablet user. It can play music and movies (videos) really well and there's a fair degree to get out of the Android market depending on what you are into. This is not a gaming tablet; it was not marketed as one but in terms of everything else that you'd need an all-around tablet to do, it gets the job done handily.
Very much worthy of everyone that is looking to purchase a small tablet to satisfy a majority of tasks for being on the go, I definitely recommend this. If you can get the Student Edition, which includes a keyboard dock and a USB adapter, I also recommend that.
