Great exhaust fan for the money

I purchased this reasonably price fan in monochromatic white as a replacement for an old kitchen exhaust. The installation took about an hour since we had to make a few adjustments to get it to fit the outside vent. I've been using it for a little over a year without any problems. I used a 23W compact fluorescent lamp instead of the recommended 75W incandescent and the lighting is brilliant! The dual speed works great especially on high and really clears out any fumes generated from cooking. I would definitely recommend this fan.

It was not the easiest to install and the fan motor was too loud. Only one setting on light and it was not adequate. The fan would sound like it was trying to stop and then would speed up. The fan eventually quit working as it has worn out the plastic that it is made of. Would not recommend this model for any installation. Should be discontinued and improved upon for a new model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fan is a good product, it removes odors and smoke well. The fan on low speed is hard to hear and you can hold a conversation without even noticing the fan is on. The high speed setting is noisy, but is clears the smoke and heat fast. Good looks and construction, I use Broan for all my house and bathroom fans.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Installation was actually very easy, except for one problem.. the fan is on all the time. Same low (?) speed on center and "Lo" position, and slightly slower on "Hi" position. Did I wore it up wrong (house white to two hood whites, black to black, ground to chassis ground), or is the switch faulty?
