This dishwasher is so quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this dishwasher. It works great, has easy to understand features, and runs so quiet that I have to check on it by putting my ear next to it to make sure it's running.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cleans well

This is the dishwasher that came with our appliance package. The dishwasher cleans very well and has multiple wash/heat settings. I'm not real happy with the racks. The design seems to waste a lot of space for dishes. Bowls don't fit well on the lower rack so I put them on the top rack, however then you lose space for glasses. Redesign of the racks would be great.

Major Disappointment - Complete Design Failure!

This was supposed to be an upgrade from the past model that I had, but it is worse in every way. The materials are all cheaper and flimsier. The rack configuration and rinse dispenser are major downgrades. I wish I had kept my old rusted out racks because at least they were configured so that you could put dishes in them. These "loop" configurations must have been designed by someone who has never used a dishwasher. There is no easy way to place simple cereal bowls in either the top or the bottom racks. The configuration requires almost everything to lay flat, thus having a capacity for about 1/4 to 1/3 of the amount of dishes that my old GE used to hold. I can only put in about 1/3 the number of plates as well. Basic dinking glasses do not fit well. There are no moveable rack shelves for small items like my old model had. It is a major hassle just trying to piece the dishes in like putting together a jigsaw puzzle. Nightmare! And wasteful of water/electricity. Just awful!! If it weren't for the fact that I required the same basic design as my old model so I wouldn't have to rip up and replace my kitchen tile, I would have sent this right back. Now I'm stuck with it - but I have learned my lesson and I will never purchase another GE dishwasher again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
