Durable sanitizer

Doesn’t wash most dirt off the dishes but it is durable and has worked as a sanitizer (after the dishes have been fully cleaned by hand) for several years with no repairs or leaks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Failed 18 months after purchase, low quality

Bought this unit for my daughter and son-in-law and it had a component failure in 18 months. Very poor qualit unit. Finding full warranty information these items is nearly impossible. Please provide details on how to get this addressed as that short of a lifecycle should be a complete embarassment to GE

Disappointing

Just like another review here, we've had this dishwasher for about 2 years and it is already broken. Repairing it will cost nearly as much as it originally cost new, so it's sad to realize it's better to replace it entirely than to fix it.

To start from what I understand this dishwasher has been discontinued which is a good thing. We bought this dishwasher during the pandemic when dishwashers were difficult to come by. This dishwasher will be three years old next month the bottom rack coating has worn off in places which leaves rust marks on your dishes. To clean the filter In this dishwasher you must take the washer arm and the cage off. I have done this before successfully with a YouTube video which warned you that the plastic piece you have to unclip from the washer arm is very delicate, this is true as I broke this little plastic clip off the last time I was cleaning the filter. The price to fix it is twice the price of the dishwasher. GE used to make quality products but no longer. But never buy another GE product.
