Straightforward & simple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the controls on this. With digital or push button you can't select just rinse or heat. With this you can. Saying that, the noise level was supposed to be quiet.
NOT quiet. Other than that, it's a good deal and does it's job.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Simple. Gets the job done.

I bought this dishwasher a little over a month ago to replace our GE dishwasher which had a leak, nothing major. This model is very simple and it is one of the fewer models that comes in white on the inside which is something that I wanted. It is very easy to use not many blows and whistles but it gets the job done and it is fairly quiet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent, solid dishwasher

This dishwasher replaced the identical model from almost 25 years ago. The old dishwasher worked beautifully right through the final load, so purchasing this one was a "no brainer". I especially like the mechanical controls. I did research other dishwashers simply for the sake of due diligence, but nothing could compare to 25 years of great performance. Reviews of digital models all had complaints of issues with the controls -- nothing beats a mechanical dial control. My husband and I installed it ourselves with ease. It is quiet and performs beautifully. The black is deep and the finish is exceptional -- looks great and works even better! The VERY best value for the price!

My family and I recently purchased a new home and this dishwasher and compared to more expensive brands it works great. Over the years I've tried a number of different brands but GE always lives it to its name on aesthetic and getting the job done right.

I've only had my dishwasher for a few days so far but I love it. It doesn't leak and it cleans my dishes so well that they literally sparkle. I wash a lot of dishes because I have four kids so this dishwasher is my new best friend. Also, GE is a great brand. I also purchased a GE fridge that's coming in next week.
