A few things to consider...

Even though this thing does in fact have an amazing battery, and a flat side on the bottom, it rolls waaaaaay to easy, even if you barely move it, its so heavy it just keeps on rolling until it falls off something, but durable. Also the whole pairing more than one device at a time "feature" actually sucks. My and my wifes phones were both connected at the same time and we were having choppy play back so one of us has to disconnect and it goes back to normal. We were using "Spotify" Very awesome sound and bass being the size of a 20oz bottle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great product but Bluetooth technology.......

I love my speaker. The only complaint is that someone feels the need to connect and cut my connection constantly and I cannot prevent the nuisance.

JBL Charge 2 review:
I received this speaker in black as a birthday gift. Initially I thought my speaker was defective due to the fact that I thought sound was supposed to be coming out of both sides of the speaker, not just the front. So I exchanged it for a new one. Only to find out that the second one I received didn't have sound coming out of both sides either. I thought this was strange. But after doing a little research online I noticed this is common with other types of similar Bluetooth speakers (Bose is the same way). To me, it just makes sense to have sound coming out of both speaker grates. Nonetheless, its still a pretty good speaker overall.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great sound

I have the first Charge and got ts one recently new for $50. Love the deeper bass. Just a great sounding speaker. I can also plug it in to my TV and it gives it a great sound. Awesome for sports.

GREAT SOUND AND BETTER THAN BOSE

I bought this and enjoy the sound especially good on outdoors where you can really enjoy the bass of the music unlike most bluetooth speaker. but there is a problem on bluetooth connection for iPod nano, Ipad.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. Reception of Bluetooth can be heavily influenced by surrounding environment. We have some suggestions to possibly address the issue you're having with the CHARGE 2. 1. Please note that if you have a large number of Apps open in your smartphone or tablet, this may block or overtax its processor. Dropouts may result. Try to close all or most active apps. This should solve the problem. 2. Bluetooth signals from smartphones and tablets are not very strong. Make sure that the signal does not have to pass through doors, walls etc. Always maintain a clear line of sight between transmitter and receiver. 3. Reset the CHARGE 2 by following this step: With the CHARGE 2 ON, press and hold the VOL+ and Pause/Play buttons for 5-6 seconds. When the CHARGE 2 switches off after a few seconds, sounding the OFF prompt, it has been reset. If none of these things work, please submit a case request at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

I have this speaker for year and few months by now and it's working same as 1 day and he was in dust wet conditions etc.
