Worked great for a bit

Bought this and used only on weekends, I less than a year unit would not take a charge and started making static, scratchy sounds. Expected more from JBL

The only Bluetooth speaker I will ever need!

This JBL charge 2 speaker has to be one of the best bluetooth speakers made...sound is great from high to low, and thumping bass. Everything sounds better, from music to phone calls. Connecting my Chromebook, Tablet, and Cell phone is quick and easy. I use this speaker in my vehicle and when the music plays, it sounds as if i have a large high end speaker system installed! 5 stars for the JBL Charge 2.
I would recommend this to a friend!

MY JBL is worth it's weight in gold. it shattered record with it's sound and when it fell from the second floor balcony onto a concrete floor underneath. today it still lives to tell the tale with the same great performance. simply outstanding, amazing, clear, loud and the best speaker you can find. superb!

Product with high propability of unfixable defect.

I bought this product last year, I was enjoying it, but five months later it stoped getting charge. The Harman (JBL) representative in Brazil (Belo Horizonte) said that type of defect was comon with that product and it can't be fixed here because JBL does not provide the spare part necessary. Then I sent it to Netherlands, where I bought it, and again they said the product can't be fixed. Now they offer me a refund and I'm trying to get it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very dodgy connections

I have constant problems connecting this. I use an Asus Notebook, an Ipad and a Samsung Galaxy Edge and some days it won't find any of them, other days it finds them all.
JBL are very poor at giving troubleshooting help, so beware it's great when it works but useless when it doesn't

great battery life and sound

I bought this speaker to use with my laptop, the sound is far supierior to my laptop speakers. Battery life is excellent, great for a day at the beach. My only critism would be the shipping from jbl if I had it my way I would have prefered ordering from amazon as I did with a second speaker I ordered for a family member.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the sound and loudness. It has substantial size and weight. I like the charge indicators on the outside. I wish it had an app so I could check the charge indicator on line as well as upgrades. It has a soft rubber feel to the touch but leaves fingerprints when I turn it on and off.
