I have been happy with the performance. It puts a great picture on my TV, and loads quickly. I miss the window that all of my others players have had that showed the minutes already played, though I can press the display button and see it on the TV. The 12V adapter being on the end of the power cord caused a problem because it blocked an outlet on my power filter next to the one I plugged it into. I would prefer the power and eject button be on top of the unit instead of on the front.

I bought the Sony Blu-ray Disc with built-in Wi-Fi because I was streaming to my television from another companies product and the other product would not allow full access through their streaming. I was needing a Blu-ray player also so I combined products with the BDP-S6500. Set-up was quick and easy, the operation is very user friendly and the streaming has been flawless so far, the DVD and Blu-ray access is super fast and the picture quality is excellent.
