Sorry to hear this. try resetting and initializing personal information on your Sony Blu-ray Player by going to Menu> Setting> Resetting> Initialize Personal Information>Yes. After resetting, you will have to login to your Netflix account. -Vincent

I recently purchased this for my 3d content. I was pleased with the ability to stream 3d movies to my tv through the online offers. I especially like the ability to preview the movies before I rent them and the ability to rent them before I purchase them for my collection.
So far is working great... totally recommend it! Easy connection won't take more than 5 min
I would recommend this to a friend!

plays DVDs and Blu-Rays fine, the only issue I have is when you are on internet programs like Netflix and it somehow locks up for from some unforeseen issue, there isn't a reset button, power button will not turn off the machine, one must unplug the player from the outlet to restart the player, otherwise, I would've given it a five star.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This blu-ray player had a perfect record with me until this week when after only 6 months, a Firmware upgrade on the screen and I downloaded and applied per directions. After the Blu-ray rebooted, it no longer would bring up the menu so I am assuming it was corrupted. Contacted Sony who asked me to try a few things but now it is headed back for warranty repair. I will say that the unit is awesome, easy to set-up. Provides beautiful 4k uplift for my Sony 4k TV and had performed flawlessly up to this point. I look forward to the return from the warranty depot. For this reason alone, it may be good to purchase the extended warranty. (otherwise it would have been 5 stars)
