Easy setup for playing Blu-Rays, I don’t use the other features.
Very small footprint which is nice.
One thing would be nice plus and that is to change the remote control frequency from other Sony Blu-ray players. (I have two Sony Blu-Ray players one connected directly to the TV and one through audio/video receiver)

This player is only the second blu ray that I have owned. I only have my previous Panasonic BDP35 to compare it to. The Sony has a much improved load time. By the time I turn on the TV and receiver to the right sound settings, it is ready to go. As I am not yet accustomed to the remote, I find myself wishing it was illuminated. Have to turn on the room lights to see where the right button is.
For those looking to stream from other sources, this unit seems to be well stocked - much more than I will ever use. Until streaming provides a picture similar to a blu ray disc, I am not much interested in this type of content.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No Flash Support in Web Browser

This device is excellent except for one thing...when browsing the Internet using the browser, flash support does not exist. That leaves out a lot of sites. I'm returning the player to find one that does.

This unit was sent as a replacement for a defective 5200. It is exceptionally better than the 5200.....especially since the 5200 didn't work.

I've been the guy to program your clock, beta max, VCR, DVR, etc. I find this unit to be the least reliable and worst user interface I've ever tried using.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was looking at Oppo but saw the BDPS6200 and pre-ordered before planned ship date. Always been a Sony fan with DVD then to Blue Ray. I have 3 Sony BD players and I can't tell if there is any real difference in picture quality. Haven't done a true side by side. This one is faster though.

Great blue Ray Player...Vibrant colors,,sharp pictures...lifelike fleshtones. Up-scalling breathes new life into my old DVD's....
