I got the 4K UHD to go along with my new 4K TV WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT MAKES. I had a SONY R/P TV that was 17 years old, Still worked but no comparison to the 4K.

Like the Bravia sync feature. I have a Sony TV and audio system and it makes playing a DVD a snap. No more using several remotes to watch a movie.

I have a regular Sony blue-ray that will be going into the bedroom. I went to a 4K Tv and wanted something that would work with my old surround sound system. After trying two Phillips players that had nice pictures but failed to hook up and give me true surround sound without wireless. This Sony has a good wired connection. I put in an old Blue-Ray movie I haven’t seen in a while. The sound went to Dolby true digital and matched the picture quality. It matched being at the theater. Someone fired an arrow in the movie and the sound was so separated it felt like the arrow went through the room. Thanks Sony.
