My 9 year old Playstation functions 10 times better than this thing. Graphics feel like Nintendo video games. Processing speed feels like dial-up internet. I'm sorry to sound like another cliched, overly negative, hyperbolizing on-line reviewer, but it's warranted in this case. Total junk. Spend the extra $100 and change on a Playstation. If you don't believe me, just check out the remote control before you take this thing home. it competes with a TimeWarner and AT&T standard cable-box controllers for the poorest tactile function on the market.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Super DVD

This DVD player connects to the internet and downloads movies faster and without any breaks in the playback for reloading. The DVD disk playback is of better quality and the center channel sound is much clearer.
Can't wait to get the Sony 4K 3D 65 inch television!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wanted to Love This Player But Can't

Sony has been my brand by choice. I have always had a great experience from other products until this purchase. I have to continuously reset the player. I am having the same problems that others seemed to be having with this particular model. The player worked fine for the first 6 months but not any more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Slow and freezes

Only had for a couple months and freezes up and I have to unplug to restart again. I have to start movie and show's twice because it just loads and loads... it's not my Internet.

Slow to respond to commands

The player has great features but is extremely slow to respond to commands from the remote or on the unit itself. I feel that when you push the power, eject or any other button the unit should respond instantaneously rather than having 2-10 second lag or locking up altogether. It’s really irritating.

The network features only work some of the time. It plays disks fine otherwise worthless as a media device.

Junk!!!

The worst streaming device ive used. I cant watch netflix. Its the main attraction of the device to me. Why produce and sell something if it cant do what its supposed to. And it freezes up just about every time i use it.
