worked great - for 3 months. Now busted.

we had finally adjusted to the relatively slow brewing. Makes a decent cup of coffee, and didn't have any problems as others have mentioned with inconsistent size of the brewed volume. Suddenly though it began to leak water - a few seconds after pushing brew,and before the heating light came on, water would start running out of the bottom of the unit until the double flashing lights would come on. I unplugged, completely drained it of remaining water, refilled, etc and tried it again. In fact I repeated this process a handful of times - no luck.
I had previously given up on Keurig units as they seemed to break too often for the price, while previous non-k cup Mr Coffees had lasted years, in fact decades. Well, this Mr Coffee lasted about 10% as long as the Keurigs did so maybe that brand isn't so bad after all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this for Christmas, taking it back tomorrow. The water goes straight from the reservoir bypasses the brewer and pours out the bottom.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Water leaks out of the bottom

Waste of money! After only purchasing 6 months ago water leaks out of the bottom. Very unhappy and will not purchase another Mr. Coffee product again. Wish I had read the reviews before buying. This seems to of been a problem for a long time. You would think they would of fixed the issue by now.

doesnt fit a refillable cup

this is a replacement christmas gift, first one did not brew at all. the refillable cup my son apparently bought extra as it arrived in a different package, does not fit. no refillable cup in the box. not a good job.

Disappointed

I loved Mr Coffee brand. I remember waking up to the smell of coffee being brewed in a Mr Coffee coffee pot as a young child before I even drank coffee. I was hesitant to buy a Keurig at first because I didn't trust the brand. Once I saw that Mr Coffee offered a Keurig I was so excited! Unfortunately, about a month after my purchase it stopped running the water through. Very disappointing! Maybe I should have trusted another brand :(

Don't Buy.

I got this as a gift last Christmas and was thrilled about it! It worked good for the first couple months and started brewing 1/2 sizes. I opened the bad boy up to see if there was a clog and there was nothing I could find. Still brews 1/2 sizes and this morning it just doesn't even brew. Very disappointed in such a cheaply made product. Ridiculous. Going out to buy a new coffee maker and making sure not to get this brand.

Started as the perfect coffee maker for wife

Bought this unit December 2015 as a gift for my wife. It has performed flawlessly until December 2016 when it stopped passing water through the K-cup. Thinking it had become plugged up with grounds (there has never been any lime scale in our unit and once a month cleaned it as instructions said to even though there was never any scale) I disassembled it and cleaned it by hand. After reassembly it worked fine again. This morning it did the same thing as in December, 2016, It failed to heat the water and passed it to the bottom reservoir without brewing. This time, after 5 failed attempts, I took the entire machine apart and found all tubing as clean an clear as the day I bought it. There were no grounds plugging any ports and no scale. The unit just quit working. I expected to get a few years out of this unit as it is one of the simpler ones. I am very disappointed with this unit and it's, what is to us, a very early failure.

Decent cheaper version of Keurig

This is a nice cheaper version of the Keurig. My only "problem" is it takes a bit longer to brew a cup than my old Keurig. But if you don't mind waiting a little it's a great substitute to save some money.
