Reusable filters won’t for it

I’ve tried every filter I can find that are reusable and wasted time and money as you cannot close the lid once they are inserted. This is my biggest disappointment in that I sometimes like to use my own blends. I have written to them to ask about this but no response. I think I would really like the brewer if I had this option too. So if you are only going to use pods already packaged go for it. Otherwise look around at other models.

I MISS MY COFFEE!!!

I got my MR. Coffee machine about a year ago and started having the same trouble as everyone else seems to have about 6 months in. I first started noticing that both 6 and 10oz settings were not brewing the full amount they should. I would be left with MAYBE an ounce of “brewed” coffee, and an overflowing k-cup. Sometimes it would brew correctly, sometimes it wouldn’t. On the third day I started my cup and came back to water all over EVERYTHING, not a drop in the cup, and bone dry k-cup. I tried to brew again and stayed to watch this time only to watch all of the steaming hot water start pouring out of some sort of overflow or something directly BEHIND my coffee mug, and above the drip tray. I tried everything I could think of, including running vinegar through it which is supposed to clean it out, and it just kept leaking everywhere. I unplugged it and put it away for awhile. Fast forward about a month later and I decided to try again. To my surprise it was working wondrously!!!! My coffee maker continued to brew me the perfect cup of coffee for several months until about a week ago. Disappointingly enough the machine has started to drain out above the drip tray again, with no fix in sight. I was honestly shocked to come here and find that an astounding amount of people have had the same exact issue with this same exact model. Mr. Coffee is such a well known and trusted brand. I would certainly expect better from them!!!! I’m now without my morning cup of coffee and stuck with a machine that is of no use to me. If I could leave zero stars I most definitely would! I certainly hope that Mr. Coffee hears what we all have had to say and takes the necessary measures to correct this issue.

Very Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Kurig single cup brewing system (BVMC-SC500R-1) for christmas. I was very excited about having my first pod coffee maker. Just recently it started making the noise of dispensing but no water is coming out, then it shuts off like it made the coffee. I have read the manual and cant find a solution. I am very disappointed with this coffee maker. I dont recommend it to any one. I havent had it two months and its already broke.

Failed product 3 months after warrant expired!

I got this coffee maker 1 yr. & 3 months ago, and during the first couple of brews of running only water through it to clean it out, the water drained directly into the drip tray. I would have returned it, but then it started working correctly. As of today, 3 months after the warranty ran out, the pump no longer pumps water through to the cup. The reservoir drains directly into the drip tray when the machine decides to do anything at all. I tried multiple times to get it to work, but the pump has failed. (The machine has been cleaned, pump and all, as explained in the directions.) This machine is dead in the water 3 months after the warranty has run out! Very disappointing! Now that I have read reviews that had similar issues, I see that I am not alone is realizing my machine is a failed product. I imagine that this is why it has been discontinued. I just needed to air my frustration. :-(

very disappointin.. wasting my kcups..

very upset.. got some real nice kcups for my birthday and this machine decides to overflow and brew 16ozs not once but 3 times in front of my family wasting my kcups when i wanted 6oz cups.. not happy will be returning this piece of junk ..
