waste of hard earned money

I bought this less than two years ago and it quit working. It didn't brew a full cup of coffee 75% of the time. It didn't heat the water hot enough.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Company. Horrible product.

I have had this brewer for 2 years and had it replaced 3 times by Mr.Coffee. each time they send a new one it works great for a few brews and then continues with a mind of its own. Sometimes it brews an overflowing cup of coffee, sometimes it brews 1/2 of a cup and other times it brews nothing at all. After contacting Mr. Coffee for a 4th time they agreed to an upgrade. I really hope this new one will guarantee me a hot fresh cup of coffee each morning! I wouldn't spend my money on this product again.

Takes forever to brew and tastes like plastic.

I've had my Mr. Coffee Single Serve K-Cup Brewing System for a few days and can't seem to get rid of the plastic taste, I've attempted to clean it with vinegar and brewed many cups of water through it trying to get rid of the plastic taste and it doesn't seem to have lessened. The taste is just gross. Also takes an inordinately long time to brew. You push the Brew/Off button and two minutes later it might make you a cup, or nothing will happen and you have to hit the button two more times, (to turn it off and then attempt to Brew again,) then wait a few more minutes to see if it does anything. (I got this to replace a Keurig that stopped working so that it my basis for comparison of speed.) Also the water reservoir is tiny, you have to fill it up between cups which is really inconvenient!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No refillable K Cup

I bought a refillable K Cup but wasn't compatible with my machine. After reading the review about cutting the top off and using foil for the top, I tried and it worked great. Washed it out and it is now ready for the next cup. Come on, Mr. Coffee, if a consumer can figure tis out so can you. Make a refillable K Cup for this model.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've own 2 of these in the last 2 years. In less than a year I had trouble with the first one where it would not brew a full cup. Thought I would get the same one again because it fits perfect on my counter top thinking the first one was just a lemon. Bad decision, this last one just made a year old and now it's doing almost the same thing. I've spent close to $160 dollars on this product in 2 years. It's sad Mr Coffee would continue to sell junk, I wouldn't recommend it if it was free!!!!!

I have bought 4 of these as gifts. All of the recipients have the same comments too slow, water reservoir is too small and leaks occasionally where it connects to the machine.

taste is not right

I received it as a Christmas gift the first time trying it didn't taste right it has an after taste like something is wrong with the heating system, I try plan water it smells,tea and cleaning it out with vinegar and rise the same smell.
