MY FIRST SMART TV

Having never had a "smart" TV, I was truly surprised. The features are great. I like that I can hook up my sound system with one cord only. The ease of using my Prime, Net flicks and Pandora has really be great. I have owned this TV for almost a year without any problems. I will look into another smart TV's for my living room. Yes I would recommend this TV to anyone.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight

Great TV

This is my 2nd Samsung LED TV. The first one has been in operation over a year without a problem.
This TV was easy to set up and performed well immediately. The colors are vibrant and the display is sharp without unnecessary movement. Any future LED TV will be a Samsung. I absolutely recommend this TV for a bedroom or where ever a smaller TV is needed.

Great display of program information

In addition to the excellent picture quality, I am most pleased with the ready access to program information. Just changing channels shows the program information transparently on the right side. The Info and Guide buttons bring up clear information and the ability to scroll to see the scheduled programs for many hours ahead.
I use a direct antenna for over-the-air channels and have a DVD and old VCR player connected, and everything works fine. I have not used any of the "smart" features yet. The only thing I'm not thrilled about is the remote, as I find several of the key locations not intuitive, and I'm using a simple universal remote for the basic functions.
All in all, I'm delighted with my new TV and am grateful to the Best Buy salesperson and another customer for convincing me that this was the model for me!
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, excellent quality!
Cons: remote - some keys not very intuitively located

Great Product - Needs a Software Update

This 24" smart TV is a great product. The picture quality is very good ( for 720p), sound is OK for what it is. I had two issues related to software. The setup did not recognize my cable provider for my zip code even though this provider has been here for over 10 years. I had to give it another zip before it would allow me to use the smart hub. 2nd, the smart features are only accessible by the handheld remote which works but is impractical to use. I bought the Samsung Wireless Keyboard but it is not supported by the current software (which I updated before I tried). There is a placeholder present so I am hopeful an update will be forthcoming. Without the keyboard it is not worth the extra money to get the smart features. I intend to use this TV in my kitchen as a TV/internet browser so that recipes etc. can be displayed while in the kitchen. If/when they allow the keyboard to be used this eliminates the need to have a computer in the kitchen!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive
Cons: Not high def, keyboard not compatible

as a senior i am a little hesitant about setting up new electronics. this was anvery easy install and i was using the tv and smart features within minutes. i like this set and would recommend it

Weak Wi-Fi Reception

High price for a smart tv. Wi-Fi reception is poor - unable to stream videos from Hulu. Performed a speed test with both tv vs a Fire tablet and tv barely made it to 1 Mbps compared to 11 Mbps on the Fire at same location. I had to connect my Roku to the tv to stream Hulu. Speakers are substandard - volume is weak and highs and lows are undiscernible. I would not recommend this tv.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

TV turns on & off instantly

This is the first TV I have owned that actually turns on&doff when the buttons are pressed. Instantly! I love my new smart tv. Thank you
