Cant tell if it is working

I put the yellow cartridge in and when I try to print it still says that i need to install a new cartridge. and to click if i want it printed without the yellow. So thought maybe I put the old one in so tried it and it says the same. So now i dont know which is the new one. How can i tell.

Works well makes nice yellow color - as expected.
I can't say excited about it - I mean, after all, it's just an ink cartridge.

It's a one-step, no mess process to install. Replacing old with new couldn't be any simpler to do and, once in, the quality and consistency of operation is excellent. I never think twice about them after I install. In fact, if the printer didn't tell me when they were low, I'd totally forget.

Product is exactly what is advertised and performs flawlessly. Just wish the 02XL was available from HP as it is from several of its other vendors. I always send my empty cartridges back to HP but have to buy the XL models from vendors that charge shipping etc on top of advertised price. Would think HP would also sell the XL variants as they sometimes provide 75% additional pages vs the straight 02 product. HP - keep your long time customers happy!
