I have been using the Verbatim 50-Pack for quite sometimes and I find it to be one of the best DVD's I have ever used. I have yet to get a faulty DVD from this company and it works great.
What's great about it: Price and quality of product.

I will never buy these again. There are so many good reviews so I thought hey why not. Well I am trying to record old home movies today. I have tried 15 dvds and out of those 15 only 3 have worked so far. This is ridiculous I could be so much further if only they worked.
What's great about it: nothing
What's not so great: the fact that 4 out of 5 do not work

All I can say is that they're cheap for a reason. The first DVD I tried to burn failed right of the bat. I didn't think anything of it when the second one burned just fine, we've all come across the odd bad DVD-R. As I continued to burn DVDs over the next few days I noticed that about every 4th DVD was failing. I know that there's nothing wrong with my drive because every other brand of DVD-R works just fine. My suggestion is to spend the extra few bucks on Sony or Maxell, it's worth it. I'm giving this product 2 stars because I once bought a 100-pack of CompUsa brand DVD-Rs where none of the DVDs worked and customer service refused to take them back because I had lost the receipt. After a long heated discussion they finally gave me my money back for they're own brand of faulty merchandise that I couldn't have bought anywhere else, but that's another story.

Saw these on sale for an $8 discount off of the normal price. I purchased a 50pk. Went home to make some copies and out of 10 DVD blanks, only two worked.
These sale items must be defective and are being sold to clear stock. I returned them for Memorex and was able to burn on the very first disc I tried.
This experience means I'll never buy Verbatim products again if quality control is this poor.

I bought these so I could make my Vacation video on my Mac into a DVD and NONE of these DVD-R's took. I literally tried every single one of them and my computer spat all of them back out. These were an absolute waste of money and I recommend that no one buys them.
