Easy to install but have to clean printheads 3 X

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ink modules are easy to install but, the same as before, two years ago, I had to run the Clean Printheads 3 or 4 times and do the Printer Alignment a couple of times to be sure since all of the inks are great except for Magenta - the last module on the right because, as before, it prints a light lilac at first and doesn't change until the last Cleaning. Printed several lovely photos and will be wanting to do many more. I had to pay so much more this time, though and apparently HP doesn't send the orders out for next day or two day shipping anymore.

Ink is ink,however, I did learn the hard way to stay with same name brand ink as your printer as generic inks just don't get it done. I do wish that one could buy these packs of ink without the photo paper at discount prices as I have 4x6 photo paper that I can't give away free.

I recently had to purchase the whole package of 4 colors and black ink even though I only needed one color. It is too expensive and uneconomical to order just one cartridge. The website promised 2-4 shipping but it took 5 business days plus two weekend days to receive it. My printing project was delayed. Now I have three black cartridges sitting in my drawer because I do mostly picture printing which apparently doesn't use up as much black as it does color. Just pretty sick of this process and cost of ink.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
