My Galaxy S4 can see and connect to the Allshare Hub from its perspective. The Allshare Hub displays "connecting" on screen but never registers as connected. Eventually the S4 drops the connections I rebooted the Allshare Hub and the S4 several times to no avail. About to return the unit in frustration.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not sure why is published that works with Galaxy Tab3 10.1, the table do not have the share cast option enabled!

worked fine on my Note 2 prior to recent OS update

I used the hub to connect galaxy note 2 to an LCD projector. worked great prior to recent OS update. can get no help from samsung support on facebook, by live chat, or by phone. so my hub is now a brick.
Cons: doesn't work after recent os update

When it works, it's pretty slick. The problem is, WHEN it works. Used to work pretty well with my Galaxy SIII and then my Galaxy S4. I've had nothing but issues with my wifi Note 8.0. Would try and connect, then auto turn off screen mirroring. As of late, it won't even connect to my S4 anymore. My sister-in-law also has troubles connecting her S4 to the hub.
Attached photo is one of the times that it completely froze up and split the image(you can see the split along the top of the screen.

Have difficulty connecting to tv. Stays on for very short time and then tv screen goes blank.

I got this as a Father's Day present. The set up is very simple. I have Samsung S5 and installed the AllShare app or Samsung Link app and after a few minutes it was ready. However, the onscreen and paper instructions failed to say to enable mirroring. I should have noticed it was not on. After waiting for the scan to find the dongle device, it connected and showed up on the TV as advertised.
Pros: small and inconspicuous. can keep out of sight
Cons: somewhat pricey for basically a wireless adapter.
I would recommend this to a friend!
