it is not a good game at all the guns are the same and the aliens are the same it is a total waste of money unless your tht addictied to halo games and the same concept. your better off just restarting halo one and play tht becaue thts pretty much wat ur getting with this game.
What's great about it: none
What's not so great: same as other halo games
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not anything to brag about

This game basically sucks if you think about it. The graphics aren't that great for an fps and there is a horrible frame rate. The maps are very similar, even identical, to halo 2. You are not getting anything more except graphics that are slightly better. The graphics are 720p at best, andd do not even look good on my 1080p lcd tv. Compared to other fps games out there, like call of duty 4, this game does not even compare slightly. Yes, this game has a reputation for good online play. But so what, what game nowadays doesn't. I will give it credit where it is deserved, however. The game is better than halo 2. Undoubtedly, the only reason this game is popular is because of its long time on the market. If you are considering buying a 360 for this gamje...don't waste your money. I should have bought the ps3. The graphics are much much better and the games are pretty much the same. All in all, Halo 3 is a waste of time and money!!!
What's great about it: ...better than halo 2
What's not so great: nothing special about this game, especially the graphics

Halo3 sucks

well if your a big halo fan go ahead but if your not don't buy this game it sucks the responsiveness is major dumb so the graphics are better than halo1 at e3 a few years ago cause the game froze and it was a piece of junk story line in WTF!. Buy it of you want thought but this game really sucks it's not worth renting or buying used so save your money for something else!
What's great about it: GRAPHICS
What's not so great: GAME IS SHORT, WASTE OF MONEY,IT"S DIFFICULTY IS EASY

ya this game is awsome but what sucks is that it is one player whats up with that, that kills it right there but all and all i guess its good

I think that metroid prime 3 corruption is million times better than this. Besides the fact that you can talk to people over the internet, this game really sucks. I don't see how these games do so well. I'm all Metroid Prime 3. They even had a Samus vs. Master Chief on ign.com and Samus won by a whoppping 70 something percent while Master Cheif had a pitiful 20 something percent. Samus is better.
What's great about it: You can talk to people
What's not so great: Boring
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I hate having to paya minimum of 50 bucks to experience online play that others can for free. This is pretty much just like the previous two anyway
What's great about it: It's just like the first two
What's not so great: has to be upconverted as opposed to being HD ready.

The game should be 1080i but not true when you play co-op on split screen is on 4:3 format only not widescreen so you get two black bars on the tv.
What's great about it: Nice online gaming
What's not so great: no widescreen format for split screen
