Great online as well as single player mode, the hype is huge for this game as well as it should be. The halo franchise comes to an end with this game but i am not sad becuase i know i was able to play the all of them and love every second of them. Best buy has made this possible once again thanks BB.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Halo 3 fixes some things from halo 2. There is less auto aim and the campaign is a bit better. You can now also edit maps (a bit) to customize them more to your liking. However, overall it plays as Halo 2.5, and its launch maps are not that impressive. Time will tell how this game does compared to its predecessors, but if initial sales are any indicator, gamers will be playing this one for years to come.
What's great about it: improved gameplay
What's not so great: not halo 1
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Disappointment

1. I purchased this game the first minute it game out (yes, I guess you can say I was one of those freaks who waited out in line at 12:01am). The game was the greatest thing for about 2-3 weeks after release.
2. The graphics are great, the ability to edit maps is amazing, the weapons are OK but kinda "cheap", the story mode/campaign is the best so far out of Halo and Halo2.
3. If you do decide to purchase this game, you will enjoy it for a week or so, and then think of how you could have bought a tank or two of gas with that $60 instead of H3. It does get boring quick.
4. The online play is very customizable to how you want to play the game, but matches you up with your rank instead of skill. Many of the weapons can become cheap after time.

Customization/AI: 4
Weapons/Accessories: 4
Overall: 3.5
What's great about it: Graphics, Customization, Forge, Videos.
What's not so great: Online, weapons.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only thing that let me down about this game was its campaign the only thing good about it was you could have 3 friends in co op mode with you , other than that the story sucked. and it was so boring i had to betray my friends to actully make it fun playing it.
What's great about it: Graphics, multiplayer rocks!
What's not so great: terrible campaign...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Halo 3 finishes the story of Spartan 117 against the insance prophets of the Covenant that seek to destroy all life in the universe to obtain divinity. While it was good to hear out the end (?) of the story I found Campaign to be lackluster and alittle disappointing compared to the previous two chapters. It didn't have that Halo feel until the very end as I was escaping an exploding vessel in a Warthog...again. While the play is great, and the game is very pretty, it was just missing that magic 30 seconds of fun the first two had.
What's great about it: Story's done?, Forge & Custom armors
What's not so great: tilted towards multiplayer, Campaign not as good as priors
I would recommend this to a friend!

this game is hot the variety of guns and locations and vehicles is amazing and you edit things in the location you play in i say if you have a 360 and you dont have this game get it
What's great about it: the graphics,guns and new vehicles
What's not so great: nothing

Halo3 is fun, never gets old like a-lot of other games! A MAJOR improvment from halo 2. Fantastic graphics, a great varioty of weapons, maps, misions, and game types. There is twenty maps including four map packs! (two of which are free). You can even go into theatre mode and take pic's and videos of your previous games. Overall rating 10/10.
What's great about it: So much to do, even create your own maps! plus has 2 player co-op
What's not so great: Not realy anything to tell ya the truth
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the first game I purchased with my Xbox 360 and it truly showed me of what the console is capable of. I've always heard positive things about the Halo series so I knew it would be necessary when playing my Xbox. It had amazing graphics and multiplayer (online awesome as well) but it actually solo game was a little short for my taste. Even though it was short I still give it 5 stars because of everything else the game had to offer me =)
What's great about it: Amazing and I got it for a good price
What's not so great: Kinda short for my taste
I would recommend this to a friend!
