Great game, I'll never be able to put down the multiplayer as soon as my 360 comes back from its second time being sent in for repairs.
What's great about it: multiplayer, co-op campaign
What's not so great: solo campaign
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overrated but good casual fun

The game is casual and here is why: 1) You can only move in a single speed making it easy to lead and kill people. Not to mention that you cannot take cover or roll and dodge. Your character and other characters do not make noise when they run despite being in full armor and carrying clanky weapons. This makes no sense and removes any need for stealth. Any serious game should have noise be a factor. 2) The weapons are terribly designed. The sniper gets 4 shots before you get out of the scope meaning you don't have to be that good to kill with it. Not to mention besides the power weapons most other weapons take a long time to kill a person. Yet the power weapons just take one hit to kill, maybe two. This means that someone with a normal weapon vs. a power weapon will have no chance at all and encourages spawn killing as newly spawned players start with nothing more than an assault rifle that takes a full clip to kill someone with. 3) Luck of whether or not people spawn behind you determines a lot of battles rather than skill with the weapons and evasion.

It is pretty easy to pick up and play so it is very casual gamer friendly. The matching system will place you with people of the same skill level as well, so you don't get destroyed as that would be no fun. The ability to play ranked with your friends is a great touch and so is the theater. Being able to share clips with your friends is very cool. While the teams can be large there are very few maps to play. There are maybe 3 or 4 per game type and with the randomness I usually get the same 2 over and over. I got bored of Halo pretty fast because the same maps have the same tired strategy and it felt too repetitive.

Bottom Line: Good game, but not my type of game.
What's great about it: Fast paced, matchmaking system, theater, large teams
What's not so great: Bugs, Weapons are imbalanced, limited movement, few maps
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This game is awesome, bungi arts have really proven themselves with this creation. Great Technology and Multiplayer.... On the other hand it is very easy to defeat.
What's great about it: Weapons and Selection of maps and Games
What's not so great: Campaign is very easy to defeat.
I would recommend this to a friend!

campaing is too short and easy but a lot of fun is played on xbox live with friend, matchmaking ranked fights are awsome, great wapon selection, great graphics, and is recomemded to everyone
What's great about it: Great graphics, online matchmaking is awsome, wapon selection.
What's not so great: rare glitches, campaing is too shor and easy

Great FSP

This game is great...the multiplayer is amazing, everything from the ranking system to the maps, the forge, everything is perfectly blended to make for a great multiplayer experience that will not get old for a long time and playable over and over. However the single player aspect this game lacks...pick up Cod 4 or Gears of War for a great campaign mode. The graphics are amazing the sound quality is also very good, playable characters now include the arbiter...worth it right there..., and the AI isn't stupid and can be very deadly very fast...legendary. If you are going to play the campaign i recomend to get some friends...3 for the best experience...that means you'll of course have to have the 4 controllers that can expensive. Overall this is a great game that could get game of the year but is lacking a little if you don't have it yet get it...it makes Xbox what it is.
What's great about it: ITS HALO
What's not so great: Campaign not that well written

The game is awesome. I would say halo 3 is the best of all of all three halo's. Live mode is sweet blowing up other people in the world. The graphics on halo 3 is the best of all the games i have played. This game by its self wants tons of people buying a xbox 360 along with the game. A great buy
I would recommend this to a friend!

I really enjoyed this game. Nothing is lacking in storyline here, and I left with a satisfied feeling. Every aspect of this game is incredible! As always with the Halo franchise, the multiplayer is great and the levels are fun and creative. I would like to note the addition of forge mode, where the player is able to alter a multiplayer level to their liking. My only con is that the game seems to be short on the easier difficulties, with some levels being noticeably easier than others. Have a great time with this!
What's great about it: Gameplay
What's not so great: Length
I would recommend this to a friend!

Halo, Halo, Halo..

Well, how can you go wrong here? Halo's single player co-op was one of the MANY reasons I bought H3. This game blew me away! Also, saving clips and screen shots and then sharing them with other friends was just amazing. Forge was insane too, I had been looking forward to that in the longest while. I was not disappointed. Must have for any previous Halo players or any regular FPS fan.
What's great about it: Amazing Single Player Co-op. Fun Online
What's not so great: None really. Can be frustraiting at time =p
