I liked story mode, but after playing matchmaking, it gets really boring. matchmaking was fun for a month, then I said forget halo, and got Gears of War, and Call of Duty 4.
What's great about it: graphics, custom games, forging maps
What's not so great: short story, story too easy
I would recommend this to a friend!

halo 3 or halo 1, I caint tell the difference

First of all the storyline sucked. It seemed that some of these level were actually from halo 1. The storyline was simply uninteresting and repetitive. The multiplayer and forge really sells it. With forge you could to everything from races to soccer to jumping 200 feet high with shotguns. and the normal online play was great. although after a while you realized that the whole game revolved around running up to someone jamming the trigger than hitting them. i.e. no SKILL AT ALL. Oh and the best multiplayer option ever to be created in a videome was put in.
THE ABILITY TO MUTE OBNOXIOUS PEOPLE!!!!!!!
What's great about it: Amazing multiplayer for a bit
What's not so great: NO storyline creativity
I would recommend this to a friend!

I really like this game. The online play, downloadable content, and forge feature make this game an amazing and different experience every time I put in the disk. A must-buy for anyone into halo or shooter games

What's not so great: Nothing

Halo 3 is a great game. Personally I like the more realistic stuff like Call of Duties and Tom Clancy games. Still a great buy, and new maps are worth getting:)
What's great about it: vehicles and very futuristic weapons
What's not so great: so-so graphics and many multiplayer options and games
I would recommend this to a friend!

This game is amazing and anyone with a 360 should get, if you dont have online i wouldn't recommended that much, because it would get boring by yourself, I was a little disappointed that only 16 people could play but i got over it and halo has one of the est if not the best online ever, the story was too short and the ending wasn't fulfilling
Overall this game was amazing, MUST HAVE!!
What's great about it: Controls/Graphics/Online/ Co-op
What's not so great: Only 16 player online
I would recommend this to a friend!

Still the best game going

If you like first person shooting games, this is still the best game going. I have played and mastered all three versions, but still continue to play it. Once you have finished the campaign (single player) mode, you can play endlessly online. Bungie Studios does a great job, continually adding new maps, new variants, game types, etc etc.
The only complaint I have heard from others is that they get their tail beat badly online. My advice is always the same. Play the game on single player mode, get used to it, then play online. The people that play online tend to play this game a lot and will frustrate you if you do not know what you are doing.
Originally, I started online, and continually got beat badly. I gave up on the game until one day began playing single player. After beating the game, I got back online and was surprised how much better I was.
Enjoy the best first person shooter ever!!!
What's great about it: Continually improves on the last
What's not so great: LOL!! Yeah right!! There are none
I would recommend this to a friend!

great game, alot of fun with your friends. for me, the campaign and online lags sometimes, but othr than that great. bettr than the first 2 games.
What's great about it: online play is great, campaign so good
What's not so great: lags a little bit

Good end to the trilogy

The campaign was a lot of fun, we finally get to see the end of the trilogy that a lot of us have been following for some time now. The skull system made the game a lot of fun since you could customize the campaign to make it more challenging or more fun. Ability to play the campaign online was a good move but it desperately needed increased difficulty for having a maximum of four people because without skulls you would tear through levels on Legendary. My main complaints with the storyline would have to be that it was way too short.
Multiplayer is a lot of fun, but also frustrating at times. Some of the most fun I've had is just playing with a group of friends, not on xbox live. I found myself often frustrated with the tactics of online players, heavy use of vehicles and power weapons. However, all in all, the online is very nice as well.
Good game, great buy, lots of fun.
What's great about it: Fun gameplay, good end
What's not so great: Too short
I would recommend this to a friend!
