The campaign play was the best part in my opinion. Online play was fun, but there was a lot of lag and glitching. It is challenging in many ways and is a great game overall.
What's great about it: Graphics, campaign, online play, ability to record clips
What's not so great: glitches
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just got this and an Xbox 360 on Christmas 2008, and I overplayed it a little. I beat the campaign in a day and a half. My brothers don't like to play multiplayer with me, because I'm too good. I wish I had live, and this is a great present, to Halo players and all! This is worth the money, great for people new to Xbox. You must get this game! :D
What's great about it: Multiplayer's great, campaign is fun, great weapons!
What's not so great: nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: great online,fun,guns r great

Great game, one of the few i buy for the campaign alone, the multiplayer is awesome as well. Halo has never dissapointed..Bungie has a great formula for making the Halo series. The only thing i could say is i kind of wanted more from the multiplayer levels...but im not complaining too much about it. Hands down one of the best games...plus they released new maps and are planing on releasing more content in ODST the only draw back is it will cost you more money.
What's great about it: graphics campaign and online play, no cheating like in COD, fun
What's not so great: I wanted more guns and more than a few new weapons THEY ARENT MAKING ANOTHER!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Absolutely one of the best games to come out for Xbox360. The campaign didnt take too long to beat nor was it that difficult, but Halo 3 is all about playing online. Bungie does a great job at adding new maps, and setting up new game modes. Every weekend they make a different game mode worth double experience in order to level up faster.
Check it out, great graphics, great game play, and will bring hours of fun. Definitely worth buying
What's great about it: easy game play, 3rd of a trilogy of great games, great online play
What's not so great: campaign is not that challenging
I would recommend this to a friend!

this game was great, i had it for a year and i still will play it again. unique multiplayer and great gaming community
What's great about it: multiplayer has lots of variety, great gaming community, custom games and forge lets players innovate
What's not so great: too addictive, matchmaking is poorly matched by skill
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a fun game to play. The single player is fun to play and the length is good. Multiplayer gets kind of boring after awhile and it's hard to find people sometimes.
What's great about it: Fun to play, It's Halo!
What's not so great: graphics could be better

Halo 3 is a fun game but it's too easy but it is very fun online.
What's great about it: pretty awesome on Xbox live, levels are fun,
What's not so great: too easy, I sugest getting halo 1
