A disappointment

I bought this monitor to replace my existing HP 27" monitor that stopped working. This new model is much less bright and the colors are drab and dingy. I have tried several different settings and have not found any that come close to being adequate.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Working in 3d modeling/rendering this monitor is excellent. I feel I would have to triple the cost to get noticeable improvement. Very good blacks and color resolution/brightness . Gloss finish can produce glare, but with good positioning I can easily deal - matte would give you a constant level of diffuse reflection and blacks would suffer. Excellent off-axis viewing for when there are folks standing over your shoulder. Great value.

It’s brushed aluminum base and trim, and the edge to edge view screen make it very nice looking, it works and goes well with my Max Mini. I liked it so much bought a second monitor for my PC. I really like the glossy finish even if it is a bite reflective. The 27xi is not equipped with speakers, it would be nice if it at least came with a sound jack for speakers and headphones, but both my computers have those, so I am getting around the lack of speakers.

Havn't used it that much yet, but it was very to set up. Great colors. Easy on my eyes. I am a stock trader and I can view more data on a large screen. I am very happy.

Back-lit LED is a beautiful Monitor

Exactly as expected MY wife has a Back-lit LED Monitor and I wanted one but, didn't want to pay $1000 this unit has good viewing and fits my desk 30" may be too big I also watch a lot of Movies on the computr so the viewing is really good!

I really love the new monitor ips really does make the difference I can break the screen in up to 4 blocks with HP's My display quick no issues with my games was a little worried at first but it handles the games fine, cod4 and unreal look awesome on this screen and with the glass front its much easier to clean than the 21 inch it replaced...which had the soft screen

I had been seriously considering double monitors, and decided on this instead; glad I did. Plug and play. The resolution is very nice, and the size allows for multiple window viewing. Could not be happier.
