When I first watched an episode of this series on the Anime Network.,I gotta say that is one of the best shows of all time. It was so cool that I had to get this series,and I did. It was pretty cool after I bought it at Best Buy on my 23rd Birthday. I really liked all the episodes in order and the opening theme. My favorite funny parts in the show was the one where Tomo showed Miss Yukari the dead Cockroach on her textbook after killing it, and Miss Yukari freaked out and got scared of it.My other favorite funny in the show was when Tomo tried to hit Miss Yukari in the face with a tray,and Miss Yukari got so mad she attacked Tomo. My favorite characters in this show are:Chiyo-Chan,Yomi,Sakaki, and of course Nyamo,the P.E. Teacher. I really do like this show,and what it tells us that an education is the only key factor in life. We all need a good education,and we all must study. Another thing I liked about the show is Monica Rial playing the voice of Nyamo. So in closing,if you have seen the preview,then this is the one. You will see what I mean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Killer Kitties and Bunches of Fun

Azumanga Daioh is the anime I watch when I don’t want to think about anything in particular. It is an enjoyable if not random jumble of high school problems, daydreams and close friendships. Not only is it great entertainment, it is also good way to get a taste of Japanese culture.
THE STORY follows the adventures of Chiyo-chan, the ten year-old genius, Osaka, the airhead, Sakaki, the insecure animal-lover, Tomo, the obnoxious idiot, Yomi, the weight conscience smart girl, and Kagura the athlete, as they go through their three years of Japanese high school. Together they stem the tide of stressful exams, competitive field days and culture fests while dealing with a crazy homeroom teacher and a perverted professor. They also deal with their own problems: bust-sizes, killer cats, and an unskilled hand at rock-paper-scissors to name a few.
It is a cute, lighthearted study of realistic people with wild dreams. Look hard enough and you can find yourself in one or more of the characters. Their personalities clash and harmonize in turn, creating the hilarious mess that is Azumanga Daioh.
NOTE: You MUST watch this anime in Japanese! I usually like to watch animes in their dubbed form, but the acting and English voices for Azumanga Daioh are so horrendous that they ruin the whole experience. If you don’t already watch subbed anime, now’s the time to start.
(The translation is well done and the subtitles are easy to follow…it’s a great series).

Awesome comedy

I hate to admit it, but this show was cute. It was also really funny. The creators did a great job of giving all the characters a face and enough screen time to get to know each one. I had fun watching this show and it's one of the shows I go back and watch again whenever I have free time.
What's great about it: Really funny w/good storyline
What's not so great: Not much
I would recommend this to a friend!
