I regret buying this fridge

First issue, and my biggest complaint, is the Slim fit ice maker in the door freezes up CONSTANTLY. We use the ice maker EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. and it still freezes up where you have to either dump out all of the ice or breaks up the clumps. It is extremely annoying. We have our fridge temp set lower than default already too.
Second Issue, noise. Sometimes the fridge is whisper quiet, but sometimes it resonates so loud you can hear it through the entire house. The noise comes from the way the compressor is mounted but there is not way to fix it permanently.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With much hesitation, I purchased this Refridgerator a few weeks ago. Been looking at new ones for about a year. This one happen to have good reviews and it was in sale. The delivery was great, actually came early (7 am) and was a fast set-up with no problems. Got everything thing loaded and set with ample room. So far I AM LOVING IT!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this fits my oddly sized space for fridge and small kitchen so that was nice although a little pricier than most standard sized fridges. keeps food extremely cold and i hope it lasts that way, my food lasts way longer in this fridge than previous. love the digital setting and menus. stil trying to figure out if the water filter replacement is based on time or how much water is running out of the fridge and needs to be replaced.

Home and installed, it has lived up to all expectations. Wife loves it -- more storage, bright inside so she can easily find foods, and more attractive than the fridge it replaced.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was in a home I purchased and I am very pleased with this refrigerator/freezer. It's probably the nicest one I have ever owned. The one thing I'm really happy with is the size of the freezer. I can store so much in it. It makes it simpler to plan meals at the last minute. The upper fridge is also very roomy and I love the fact that I can move the 2nd shelf back to make room for large pitchers of iced tea when my family comes to dinner. Also, if the door is mistakenly left open the chimes go off to remind me of that. Love it!

Purchased this just over 2 years and compressor has already stopped working. All the food has thawed out and I’m left without a fridge. Called LG and have to wait 12 days for technician to come out. Completely unacceptable. Trusted LG brand in the past—no more!!!!
