[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased LG because of the reputable name. We purchased the fridge in July/August of 2015. At the end of June 2021, it stopped working. We got it repaired and repair man said we probably have another 5 years with it. Refrigerators should be lasting 20/25 years!! My parents had two and they are still running both past 25 years old! Every family, friend and neighbor said the same thing and that products are not made like they used to be. Definitely should not be happening with a brand like LG.

I bought this unit 4 years ago and even the LG technician can't fix it. It worked perfectly up until one month ago. The unit does not stay cool. I've lost a refrigerator and freezer full of food twice.
