We have endured many problems with the refrigerator and LG service. The linear compressor is guaranteed to fail, there are no permeate solution other than extended warranty of five year that too is guaranteed to fail. our compressor got so hot it melted the evaporator coil. LG has made promises, but not followed through.

I had to go without a the refrigerator for over two weeks and since I live in rural Iowa I was unable to rent a refrigerator. The refrigerator was repaired and now works great again but evidently the compressor is known to fail on these units. Really happy with the refrigerator otherwise.
