This fridge has failed twice with no cooling events. Luckily LG has a class action lawsuit agreement that extends the warranty. Expect to randomly lose cooling when the compressor dies, but don't worry it only takes a couple of weeks to get it repaired every time it happens.
In my case, they even managed to make my repair ticket a non-warranty claim in error resulting in me paying for diagnostic fee which they still haven’t refunded 2 months later.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have owned our LG Refrigerator for 3 years now. The compressor stopped working while we were away from home in month 35 of ownership. We had believed that it would last much longer than that. It took 2-3 weeks to get a repair and replacement of the compressor. We had an LG certified tech to do the work because there was little capacity from other local service techs. The LG tech was excellent and helped us much.

You can see everything at a glance organized clean and easy to clean. LG had great customer service when our cooling system died on Christmas Day they quickly came out replaced everything with brand new items and had taught us new ways to protect our investment and keep it running smoothly. Plus we bought a 3 pack of water filters and an air filter at a fair price. This left everything smelling fresh and convenient as we have extra on had. The LG rep even gave us his number if we need anything but it’s running great still Thanks LG!

After clear all ice I restart and did not have any problem. Recently again I notice that fridge is not cooling enough I called to LG and they sent Technician , who checked and I informed that compressor has fault .He had new one which he replaced and after that it is again working fine . ( LG DID NOT CHARGE ANY THING TO REPLACE NEW ONE ) . Thanks LG
