[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just had to replace the compressor. While it fit in the space it was too tight and only had a couple of inches on the top to get air. I believe that's why the compressor had to be replaced. I have now opened up the wall some and it gets air from both sides also. Hope this helps others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had problems with my LG refrigerator. Some of the bins or shelving have cracked. I replaced them by paying for new ones since they weren’t covered by the warranty and those cracked as well. The compressor stopped working and I had to throw away all the food from the freezer and refrigerator- as of yet no compensation from LG for this loss. They did extend my warranty and pay for the repair parts and labor so I appreciate them standing behind their product by fixing a common issue that they have with their refrigerators.

Failed compressor! Have since learned that it was a common problem. Warranty was extended to 5 yrs but outside of that. Compressor warranty extend for parts only not labor. LG supplied 3 approved shops, none of whom would work on it. Needed a fridge so just went and bought a new Non-LG fridge.

In Service Jan 2018, compressor quit March 2022. No one local willing to fix it. Never did cool properly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 6 years old and the compressor went out. After reading hundreds of reviews about how much trouble customers have been having with similar issues, I’ve decided to use the manufacturer warranty to fix the problem but use that fridge as a secondary unit and purchase something new from a different manufacturer. Our stove that we bought at the same time, has had nothing but issues as well. The products look great and for approximately 2 years, we had no issues, but with the amount of money we spent and the issues, we won’t be shopping LG products again until the company figures out quick fixes to these all too common issues.
