I bought this refrigerator 6 years ago. Almost right away, the bottom freezer drawer started developing a build-up of ice on the top front of the drawer and on the sides. Two weeks ago the ice maker stopped working. A couple of days after that, the freezer stopped working. The compressor is broken and there is a leak in the compressor seal. All this needs replaced. Ridiculous for a 6 year old fridge-especially one that costs this much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge to replace a previous LG that had a meltdown. We’ve been pretty happy with this one. It’s nice and has lots of space, but if I had one criticism, it would be that the temperature display isn’t accurate. We put a digital thermometer inside, and it always shows consistently 2 to 3° off reality. The new fridge usually shows cooler than it actually is inside. Other than that we’re pretty happy with it.

Sprikles like a jewel in the kitchen. I love the two freezer doors. Lots of space and it's easy to organize the freezer sections and get exactly what you need quickly. The ice doesn't take up too much space and is surprisingly quiet. We love the new LG French 4 door refrigerator.
