Love it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far this fridge has been wonderful! It's so easy to see everything inside and easy to clean. The fruits and veggies drawer are roomy and easy to see everything in there. The wide drawer that I use for cheese and deli items is great. Huge freezer! My only problem was the fridge was set at 37 but when I used my refridge thermometer it registered 45. I lowered it to 33 so it now registers 39. Should have checked earlier.

Liked the product as I was looking for the features it had only problem I have is the ice maker stopped working properly. Am putting a call in to have it fixed. Not happy this happened after a month of buying.

We like the layout of the interior drawers and shelves and have rearranged them to suit our needs. The drawer controls are intuitive and easy. Everything about this unit has met our expectation except the ice maker. First the good: the ice cubes are smaller and we find we really like them over the larger cubes. The only negative is that the ice maker cycle is slower. Using 37 degree temp setting (recommended setting) we found that in later summer, air conditioning set at 81 degrees, the ice maker did not keep up for my wife and I with normal usage. Ice did not fully replenish cube holder overnight. If it can't keep up with two seniors how could it possibly service a family of four?

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Plenty of Space

I just love this refrigerator, especially the large areas that accommodate food trays and large holiday food items.

Nice frig

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wife wanted double door with bottom freezer. This fits the bill. Smaller dimensions then our old side by side but has more room both frig and freezer. Ice maker keeps the tray filled and is adequate for our daily needs. We use the bucket in the freezer for more items and will use it to store more ice cubes if needed. Door adjustment is not quite as easy as book says. Nut on one side is very tight. Stainless steel leaves a lot of fingerprints, wish they would offer different options besides the black which is $500 more. All in all a big improvement then our previous side by side.

What I wanted and what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a traditional house and it is sometimes hard to find an appliance that fits the dimensions of my rooms but this refrigerator just did. I was glad as it had all the features that I wanted--ice, water, double doors and bottom freezer. It works well with no problems except that I still forget sometimes about the ice/water feature and wind up with water splashing down to the floor. LG really should rethink this feature. The only other problem that I have is that I am short and reaching to the back of the top shelf is difficult for me. There could be a little more room for tall bottles such as wine.

Beautiful & Functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is beautifully styled and very efficient. I compared a lot of brands, and this particular refrigerator had the most storage space for the size. Many other models had compromised space due to the ice maker. The shelves are all adjustable which enables space maximization and there's ample storage in both doors. The only drawback is the ice maker which does not make much ice, especially for a family of 6. The freezer is quite large though, so we keep a couple of ice trays filled.
